Sobriquet - Naivete

Snared for an errant tweet
    Never thought to be discreet

Escorted by a kick to the seat
Hope fell to grieve at his feet

  Kremlin brass-knuckle browbeat

The Banshee Was Biding Her Time

The banshee was biding her time
Trying to look like she belonged
At the Scottish wedding
Death found her

And escorted her out
Wrong wedding he cautioned her
She was young,
Glad she had saved her wail....

Serenity, Mine.

This peace,
ascertaining it.

Such
      A
        Struggle.

Yet,
the bird
stayed with me.

Its Snowy-white giving, love, escorted me.

Together finding
this
tranquil place,

and today

serenity
          is
              mine....

Taps

Two to start
hidden getaway planned
hooded by woods
secretly intimate
a silent motor
black search began
waiting with accompaniment
tap - tap - tap
drowsy state triumphs
a starred awakening
sirens blaring, lights flashing
escorted and directed away
quick glance back
one hanging above...

A Black Tie of Course

Yes, I do have a black tie he said
He showed up with it stuck to his head
His wife was not classy
Her gown was quite trashy
They were escorted to the flower bed

The next couple was luckier than that
They brought along a dog and a cat
hidden in their coats
Were put onto tugboats
Tossed out to sea past the graveyard flat...

The Coals Adventure

The solid lump of black coal
for the some geological reasons
have got to long travelling
deep into Earth,
and gone through lots of pressing, beating and
others heavy testings,
eventually digged up, polished,
labeled, crowned
and escorted to pallace
as marvelous prince almaz.

That is common saga of success
in mineral world....

Mutiny Immunity In Trump Community

More Horn Haiku

opportunity
for mutiny immunity
in Trump community

they were caught cheating
more trouble may be meeting
should be unseating

Trump others shorted
many lies he had imported
out was escorted

had known from the start
God great and glorious Thou art

Escort Trump Out Horn Limerick

Escort Trump Out Horn Limerick

Off of earth Trump should be escorted
Diligent workers he had them deported
Left everyone behind greatly and neatly
After kissing loving mother so sweetly
Who actually Donald had him aborted.

Collaborating In the Clouds

I set out in the middle of the night
Unaware of my destination
And up I looked
I saw the itinerant clouds
And suddenly I was followed
Escorted by the clouds
My destiny yet unrevealed
Together we sailed
Hoping to find shelter
She was like a mother-hen
Even though she was Pregnant
And her time to deliver has come
She covered me all along
And I was king of the horizon...

Trump Had Exhorted

Exhorted (past tense) and exhorted (past participle); strongly encourage
or urge (someone) to do something

Trump Had Exhorted

People to commit crimes, Trump had exhorted;
Terribly evil things distorted when he extorted;
Dilapidated,
And constipated;
Off stage should be escorted and then aborted.

Razors edge

Walking bare feet on a razor’s edge across the swollen sea,
turning back is never an option, there is no where to flee!
many miles still to go, your journey has just about started,
You hope and dream for a rescue, pray you will soon be escorted,
Such is journey for many in this world, life is such a strain,
be the saviour in their lives, reach out to save them from their pain.

They All Wanted Jail

Five older women confessed to the hit and run.
None had damage on their cars.
They were irritated that no one believed them.
I am a murderer one screamed
As they were escorted out by police officers.

Good try, her friend said.
I tried that last week.
It is kind of sad
When five older ladies are eating cat food
While convicted prisoners get three square meals a day....

Fearing the Worse

escorted thru the fog
to a secluded room
down a long hall
off away from other rooms
every sign
foreboding
holding our breath
for a verdict bad or worse
hearts beating fearfully
trying to calm our minds
pretending for each other’s sake
we’re not concerned
we’re not alarmed
we try to find comfort
take a deep breath
life goes on
until it doesn’t

God Showed Up On Tuesday

God showed up Tuesday
Walked slowly amid His children
Found the doors to his houses locked
The poor huddled in the shadows
Of bell towers that called to no one
Listened to the empty words
Of robed and soul-less orators
Droning in a deafening silence

God wept on Tuesday
Unrecognized
Shunned when he inquired:
“Do you love one another?”
Escorted from the premises
When he whispered:
“Why have you forsaken Me?”...

Upon a Mid Winters Night

The woods echo with the stillness of a newly- fallen snow.

Moonlight beams glisten upon a frozen lake of deep sapphire hues.

Icicles adorned with a reflective mirrored glow.

Barren trees dressed in delicate icy lace, and feathery flakes of silvery blue,

white iridescent silk gowns of powdery snow billow and flow,

amid crystal ice teardrops of branch chandeliers escorted on the arm

of the northern wind, dance a minuet to winter’s Hymn...

Will Amuse With Proper Shoes

we may have the blues
should stop then we will amuse
choose the proper shoes

read news page by page
when my bright mind may engage
could see cat in cage

constant covenant
good looks appeared prevalent
where ever she went

there had been much trash
we could see in Calabash
things may cost much and cash

saw pretty Persian
scattered in a dispersion
while on an excursion

had been escorted
became badly distorted
will be deported...

The Fall of Man

Tempted…by the slithering serpent,
Eve accepts the forbidden fruit,
From the Tree of Knowledge.
Resulting in permanent expulsion,
From the beloved…Garden of Eden.

Escorted…by the archangel from fruitful reality,
Into the lone barren horizons.
Adam and Eve, contrary to previous happiness,
Both walk with an ashamed sinful gaze,
As they forcefully flee…from Paradise.

I Renamed your Dog Beau

I hope you don’t mind, but I renamed your dog, Beau
This came from a neighborhood girl I just met; name of Flo.
She had escorted my dogs home from a mile away.
How she accomplished this I honestly can say.

My dogs love children, they will follow them anywhere.
If you don’t believe, bring a child here, yes, please do dare….
My dog’s new name is White Marshmallow, he’s an Irish Cream
A retriever of sorts, kind of a powder puff, his bark is quite mean....

Leaves Fall

Humming background
Of an autumn
Love serenade
Mimicking the last dance
Of older butterflies
Their waltz for all to see
Escorted by the wind
In a grand finale
Till gently gliding
To the ground
Fall leaves find
Their final resting place

Safari

Our friends went on safari;
We enjoyed their tales and pics.
The guides escorted them to bed,
Their weapons only sticks.

Yet once inside their tents they heard
Some lions in a fight.
With predators so close, I know
I’d never sleep at night.

Another day a hippo started
Making an approach.
The guide called out, “Get in the jeep!”
Which was their touring coach.

The wildlife photos did impress,
The settings gorgeous, too,
But I’m content with what I see
When I am at the zoo....
