Yellow
Enfolded by your embrace
i am warm
For nothing is brighter then
the flame that is burning
inside me
Set off by your
Intoxicating smile...

Angels Touch
in the compass
of wings
i am enfolded

feathers
touch
through breezes
in soft
whispers
unspoken

words
of comfort
soothe me

my soul
rises
above

i drift
thoughtless

Vanishing In Wishes
To Love her is to
Be enfolded in dreams
And to watch pebbles
Skipping on the pond
For eternity.

I want to spend my days
Vanishing in wishes,
Transcending in existences
Just so I can be with you....

visually clever
a retort even

Let me nestle secure
on my Father's breast.

Let me be rocked gently
enfolded in His arms.

Let me hear in stillness
His soft-sung lullaby.

Let me sleep undisturbed
in His perfect peace.

Let me wake hushed
less bruised by life's hurts....

Supernova In Forever
I asked
that you Press me,
between the pages of your love
and as you enfolded me
in the volume
of your life

I asked,
that you cherish me
holding me
in the crook of your heart
just a moment

you did,
now I burn

A supernova
forever...

Christmas
cast iron monster
belching smoke and steam
small hands enfolded

framed beneath
glassine perfection
quietly staring

strange world streams by
silent but for noise
engine screams

arrival ahead
grandparents standing in snow
Christmas awaits...

Spiraling of Work and Play
Endlessly at play,
forthright in work,
evolving to the tune
of passion eclipsed

Build a house with satin bricks
to etch a song from roots to mist
We all belong
Enfolded in rapture
In dreams, capture the wandering
of the soul-
if
allowed to breathe
To heavens it will soar...

Cocooned within embryo awaits a moment of elation when birth will release the offspring to a new adventure. Wings enfolded in prayer like slumber will yield to the currents; aloft beauty leaves its gentle impression upon the air and the sighted will breathe in a moment of elysian bliss.

From the Ashes
I sleep.
Enfolded in peace.
The agony and pain
Disappear:
The burning, the sorrow, the flame
Enfolded in peace.

I wake.
Entranced by life.
Remembering fire
Inside;
Death before sleep, and now
Entranced by life.

I rise.
Enraptured by flight.
The strength within
Burning.
Spreading my wings, I soar
Enraptured by flight....

What Spell
Feet to the fire
Set upon a pyre
Your burning desire
I sink in your mire.

Waiting for your arms
Enfolded in your charms
My heart like an alarm
This touch so warm.

What shall I do
With this thought of you
My passions do ensue
Lovely of us two.

Together at last
You make me gasp
Don't go too fast
What spell have you cast?...

Finally
After all these years - she is gone
the struggles ended and
all suffering ceased

the winds of change have taken her spirit
and enfolded it into itself -

shades of blue and black where she existed on an earthly plan
have now blossomed to frail yellows and transparent whites...

her head is now covered with cala lilly
and her spirit guides
are holding her hand....

Afraid of Feeling Safe
I am afraid...
Not of him,
But of myself,
For feeling safe
Engulfed in the haze
Of his kisses,
Enfolded in the warmth
Of his embrace...
I am afraid of feeling safe
Like its dangerous
To feel anything but
Cautiousness
When balanced
On the slim tightrope
Of the highest tree branch
Under the assault
Of strong wind-
I am too giddy
On the thirty-feet high
To care......

A Toast
Ah, playful is the gay coquette
who flits between the trees,
which stand around like marionettes
all swaying by degrees.

She romps along, red curls unbound
and flapping in the breeze,
her wrap lies low enfolded round
a figure made to squeeze

Let’s raise a glass to this dear lass
who never meant to tease,
or shake our heads at those instead
that try too hard to please....

A Beautiful Perspective
Flying birds never sing the blues
Blue skies never tell secrets
Heard while flying birds
Passing by like the winds
Whisper that humans are odd creatures
Cast upon mischief’s missions
Wearied they sit and entertain the blues
As if life has but grey hues
Yet myriad colours fly without flaws
On masterful jolly-jollies
Sleepwalking through seasons
Enfolded in fickle glories...

Waking In San Francisco
The sun did not rise with me this morning. The cold, grey mist was there Embracing all the places We had been the night before. The music, too, was gone; And emptiness enfolded me Like silent fog On city streets. Were you ever here? Did we sing a song And dance in the moonlight . . . Embrace, laugh, and Hold each other? I cannot find you now.

Winter Is Here
Wild and wet,
Icy winds blow,
Now thunder rolls,
The lightning flashes,
Electric arcs from sky to ground,
Rain pouring down all around

In sheets it comes
Soaking everything it touches.

Home, this is the place to be,
Enjoying it's comfort and safety,
Round the glowing fire we sit together
Enfolded in it's warmth, forgetting the weather.

Sheets Dry and Warm
The distraction
The solution
To the pain
Sheets dry and warm
Lure me in
The scent of comfort
Is what I fear
You promise dreams
And I dread reality
We are a couple
You and me
Yet I believe
A day will come
When you’ll sleep
And I’ll wake
When I won’t fear
Reality
For it will be enfolded
With fresh sheets
Of old dreams,
And don’t worry
I will still need you
But I won’t be dependant
ON YOU....

Premium Member Palliative Fountainhead
I am not fit
to love or contemplate
the meaning of a
palliative fountainhead
synonymous
with winter longingness
enfolded by
sudden wantonness
of scorched earth
in summer
which stems from
a strength I lack
derivative of vulnerability
exposed to the point of
frigid fragility
being how recently
I supper alone
unable to stomach
such weakness
your absence has shown
to crave our collective
still perfectly fit...

Guilt
Do I my life possess
Or does it possess me
A constricting dress
That fits me badly?

I am held and molded
By invisible weight
And by it enfolded
And cannot escape.

Laid down before me
Little to call my own
Of the human story
And its refrain.

Partners in a dance
They hope to touch me
Listener for once
Because they love me.

I try to pretend
They are not unknown
But I am at the end
Turned to rag and bone....

In caustic dreams
My body does wander
Enfolded with others
A typhoon wave comes
Some of us fall
Fire balls rain down from the sky
The smell of burning flesh an acid in my brain
When the lightning burst out of the darkness
We were crawling, scurrying now
No place to hide
Tar steaming
In broken baskets
Some in my eye
In some imperfect version of hell
I feel I’ve slipped up
Slipped in
Holding close to myself
And spirit within...

Fragile Existence
If upon a summer's noon,
Ride those rays of golden light.
Bursting forth !!
As from a butterfly's cocoon,
Radiant in splendorous flight.
Agape Love in warmth....

How elastic the mind
Expansive in its wake.
From the cold depths of ignominy
Into the burning fires,
Leaving any and all previous to ash
Renewed in its garment of flame.

Comforted in cupped hands
...... enfolded wings,
Glorious light bestowed
On such fragile beings....

Thoughts That Grow In My Heart
The enfolded pain; the suppressed thoughts,
Want to tear out of my heart
They come to my mouth,
Willing to come out,
Urging to be granted with words
But ,
I feel; I am finished with my words

Loosing their ground ;
As, by them no words are found,
They travel back to the place they 're bound.

Unable to give them words
I share them with none else
But Allah.
Who needs no words
For He already knows each thought
That grows in my heart...

“Words speak volumes”
even the few, or the one
when chosen wisely –

let us not confound
quality with quantity –

like an honest kiss

on a barren cheek

at the right time
trumps a deluge of
well rehearsed slobbering –

greening trees

blossoming meadows

we share with all
Nature bold and
brilliant, scented
fondness,

breathe in and out
exhaling blessed
necessity –

taking selflessly
from one another
enfolded, raptured
within a canopy
of Divine Light –...
