Afraid of Feeling Safe

I am afraid...
Not of him,
But of myself,
For feeling safe
Engulfed in the haze
Of his kisses,
Enfolded in the warmth
Of his embrace...
I am afraid of feeling safe
Like its dangerous
To feel anything but
Cautiousness
When balanced
On the slim tightrope
Of the highest tree branch
Under the assault
Of strong wind-
I am too giddy
On the thirty-feet high
To care...
