A Silly Mistake

Jane's dad was a man of hauteur,
He employed a guard for his daughter.
But that bloke was her dream,
She eloped with him,
Her father didn't know this suitor!

Highly Developed and My Mind Enveloped

My poetry skills are becoming highly developed.
And my whole total mind they have enveloped,
Without a doubt,
Mailed them out;
Guess what my wife enticed me so we eloped.

Buttercup Busybody

Buttercup Busybody’s behaviors burst beyond belief
Big, buxom, busty, she gave her dour daddy grief
Hosted Hamburger Harry’s Hoedown which featured beef
Eloped with Eddie Eardale, giving her parents some relief.

Elope

I didn't know
where inspiration went
nor why it absconded!
My desire to write
eloped with my imaginative drive.

A choking crowd,
ideas stayed locked
in my small head
and I didn't know
how to ease them out.

Two-Timer

There was once a two-timer named Drew
He got caught by his bride to be Sue
         Greeted him with a whack
          Turning his left eye black
Then she eloped with his best mate Stew

Irish Piglet Fine

we pearl like pink carnations welcomed the Irish piglet fine
He had travelled to our village through the Eager Emerald mine.
His magic tricks were amazing, his positivity a light to shine.
He uplifted the whole village and eloped with piglet Clementine.

Once Upon a Time In Africa

Once upon a time in Africa
Dark-land eloped Europe
Then he divorced her face

Now its a bride of a strangeness
But a cannily mystery is alert
Watching from tree-top it is

Its tongue belching flame fire
Arms of thorns extended
Yet children continue to slumber

Love Without Hope

The young lovers eloped in the gaudy spring
Vanquishing for aye the foreboding feeling
Burgeoning in a vehement devotion
Bonding the two souls with a zeal emotion

Once He Ran, a Younger Man

Once he ran, a younger man, now he hobbles
Once he walked, cheerfully talked, now he wobbles

Once he laughed, a breezy updraft, now he cries
Once he hoped, with the future eloped, now he sighs

Once he looked forward
   ~ Now he looks toward
The day when he can die

Let Him Explain

She wore uncertainty on her shoulder
    hesitation held back her shoes
  Twitches split her left forearm
these emotions seeped into their news

  Let him explain, she considered
nerves of steel need not preparation...
In the pit of a parental boardroom
one word ~ eloped ~ sealed their doom

Gn Vibes

Vibes ride high tide
Inside minds eyes
Spilling up within sky
Limitless without divide

Onward gracious hearts
Beating pumping art
Souls breathe eternally
Against grain breaking free

Community eloped within thee
Hands fall upwards stoically
Pores elate priceless synergy
The chemistry the chemistry

Handsome Blake

There was once a guy named handsome Blake
Sally Sue declared he was her one big mistake
               He was really cute
             Got stuck in parachute
So she ran off and eloped with his twin Drake

Where Have They Gone

Where has it gone?
It's not inside my head.
It is now a ways away
Where sunshine stays and there's
n'er a fear
A place I made inside my head
A place that in its nascency my
mind just had to steal
Eloped did they, those self-enslaved
mind and grand idea
And now I have my mind not
Nor my grand idea
They have runaway

Her dad did not like her beau
So one day they eloped
But Bo’s dad dashed their hope
He sprang from behind with bolo.

Conclusion

The moon is revealing how someone's light could be eloped, even when there is much need for presence. How can it be sometimes that stars are so cruel to leave the moon alone in between the charismatic sky and earth? Why there is a circle in everything or everything is so confusing? That's why we got at last what we created. At the conclusion, nothing is fixed and nothing is temporary.

Quick Witted Esmerelda

Esmerelda was brainy, bright, mentally keen
In the quick-witted department almost obscene
She’s sagacious, perspicacious, totally shrewd
To point it out, would be a teensy bit rude

We let her get away with things others would not try
Her brilliance intimidated more than one guy
She’ll stay single forever said her brother Ray
She fell in love and eloped with a lover the very next day

Roses

She glances
From afore does she stare
Poised passive without motion
Petals grace and glance in glimmer
Dans la roseraie de la vue
Attractive allure into light's lust
Marinating morning's delectable dew
Entwined is she in the rose's vine
Flowered fluorescence enclosed eloped
Claret joues et l'éclat rose
From the bud doth she now call
Flowered glances doth pollen pose
She glances...

The Waiting Shore

My love and I washed up on the waiting shore destined to lay our heads on her satin sand. Distressed from violent seas, we shook to the core, in wake of destruction, where waves touch the land. The storm has now passed, my Lord whispered to me. Gale winds will soon calm and the heavens you'll see. I searched the horizon for glimmers of hope and saw a great aura where stars had eloped.

Not Inside Me

You left me
       to go to place unknown
       they told me you eloped
       with someone in the neighborhood
       it was nice you left
and break my heart to pieces.

You shattered the joy in a life
you destroy a happiness with your
        wickedness.
I have plan to be a man
        to face my pains alone
because you are not inside me...
and yes I am a broken man.

Broken

BROKEN
My heart in pain for broken it is:
The keeper of my heart left it's gate and eloped with it's key
The pain in my heart not so plain
It drained my sobs and tears
Couldn't scream
Couldn't shout
Couldn't Smile
Couldn't cry
Faking smiles physically
Producing gallons of tears Emotionally
My heart like a broken bottle
Can't be fixed
Can it?

My heart as hot as hell
Burning with pain
But still my smile remains....

Pope Elopes

I was riding the bus to work
One day,
When the fellow sitting next to me
Turned to say
There’s an interesting article
In the newspaper today.
I looked at him,
My curiosity was roused.
Page seven he he said, if you care to browse.
I unfolded my paper and
Turned to the page.
Two-words caught my eye.
As I started to read,
I scratched my head.
Was this a mistake,
I questioned myself.
But sure enough
It was true
A Pope eloped yesterday afternoon

Vignette-The Rendez-Vous

A view to look & look again
this landscape drawn from memory lane

A place special to my sweet heart
yet wher our romance did depart

She wandered away,away
because of words ,I did not say

Too late, too late my heart broke in two
again,again I visit our rendez-vous

Some months i wait & hoped
maybe true had eloped

One day my world opened wide
into each others arms we cried & cried

Our mutual love had not died
my love became my wife & bride.
