Love is like a seed,
casually planted in the heart
of two people.
It must be given a chance to grow,
watered, fertilized and nurtured
by strong ties of proper moral values.
 
I saw such planting once.
They were young and full of zest.
She was petite and loving.
He was strong and hard-working.
The seed grew...lopsided.
For they grew rich.  Egoism set in
and one wanted all, the other yielded.
The seedling died.
