Berry Throm

Berry Throm suffered toothache
He went to see Doctor Jake
To have it come out man was willing
He was glad there was no bad drilling.

drilling down to build up crowns

What Hammer Make This Sound

A Red woodpecker
Drilling a hole
Through the
Tender bark of
The cider tree
Making sweet sap
Flow to the ground
What hammer make this sound

Loud TV ads drive me insane!
They're drilling right into my brain!
But, hey! This is cute;
There's a button called Mute!
-Do you get it or shall I explain?

Premium Member MY FUNNY VALENTINE

My husband, Bill, snores with great might,
Like a jackhammer drilling all night.
Windows tremble and shake,
No sleep can I take.
Sleep in shed instead with my nightlight.

Black Gold

Crude oil drilling
Dark viscous liquid

Becomes valuable
When first distilled

Automobiles
Cause pollution
More dollars for firms.

Premium Member Ruffled Woodpecker

Ruffled woodpecker in her orange and pink dress
Hopping up and down, drilling on a cookie press.
Dancing to her own melody, a jackhammer’s song.
I see and I smile, glad I meandered along.

Toothless In Montclair

A tormented man who lives in Montclair
spends every day in a dentist’s chair
All the pulling and drilling—
Not to mention the billing!
He now brushes teeth that aren’t there.

Artist Trap

A fleeting emotion,

Exposing its fangs.

A wanting, yearning.

Drilling into passions

Formally unnoticed.

Freedom, in an

Insignificant form.

Expression fading into this surrender.

I am my freedom, it has me.

Road Trip Acrostic

Riding the curves set before us
Only our senses respond
And there are also no setbacks
Drilling its Bravery to Us

Turning and tripping and twirling
Rough spins until we are strong
Inner desire preserving
Proudly conquers Our Faults

i walk hills and vales
searching after true wisdom
emptiness i find

go within they say
the inner route is rough tough
what a deep drilling

Premium Member Thundering

a silence
drawing
drudging
driving
drumming
drilling
louder than
a drone

rushing like a river
a mill
a power plant

in a hurry
wild with fury
roaring past
resounding
late for the
end of time

seek help
your ship will sink
your world
will collapse
paranoia
anxiety
depression
will come calling
they will be happy
pretend to be
your friends

but are drilling
holes in the hull
of your sanity

seek help
your ship will sink.

Machines of Fall

Afternoon autumn
Our neighborhood goes crazy
Like living in a dentist’s office

Drilling sucking blowing
Whining wincing scraping

Gurgle

My head tilted back
With a book on my chest
Mouth wide open
Staring into the glare of the final high sun.

Mosquito Sneeze

Mosquito Sneeze

I was just about to sneeze,
When I felt a mosquito
Squat firmly upon my nose
And watched it "bite me"!

"Ah-Choo!" And up it arose
In search of another drink,
Gliding gently where he thinks--
On ^Rick's head--drilling!

Drilling For Plastic (2/2)

She wasn’t far off basis, I am some what of a pervert. But what she didn’t know is that
her magnificent **** helped me see things a little bit clearer, I had a boob inspired
epiphany.
I wanted to thank her, but it would only have freaked her out.
Especially since I had a *****….

The US must generate jobs
And Petroleum Inc. wants mobs
Of workers to toil
Mining more gas and oil
But from the green future this robs

Is drilling the place to invest?
Can fossil fuel use still attest
To progress desired?
The car culture it sired
Drives Earth to a state sorely stressed

Premium Member Noises

freeway traffic
many honking horns
Geese yaking

the busy bee
drilling a hole in
my window sill

sleeping with one
ear tuned to a babes voice
the new mother

a hushed quiet
the ball trails to the net
and finds it's mark

a bar raises as
another record falls

Bite

i have
a drill not

one of my
bits has a bite

his is
diamond
tipped but all

mine and
i have the wood
just say that you have the

time
