Premium Member Drawback To Mask-Wearing
Her beguiling eyes took my breath away Above the silken mask she chose to wear Her coif most flattering above her face, Until I saw her teeth -- the worst, I swear!

Premium Member Mesmorised
the straight jacket
of convention
bring
random
    consolations,
so
apposite:
the drawback
of the trivial,
underlined
by the inauthentic,
unruffled
by the marginal,
proxy-proof
in the schemes
of man...
distilled by the
sieve
of the commonplace...

Premium Member A Social Drawback
All I ask for
is to unloose the tongue
believing it won’t block
among people bar none

A social gathering
is a step too far
where you are not wanted
feeling you have a scar

Indeed scarred you are
socially unable to compete
what is your future?
sitting alone in your back seat

The Bird
A bird who sits on the mountain wall
Would sees the world with great azure
He would see his rise and fall
In glimpse and glances more and more.

A bird who sits on the back of a cow
Has earned his dreams on others back
He mere explain things why and how
But knows on the back, others drawback....

Drawback
Most if not always
my consequences rest
in lamentation of spirit.
End if not means,
that crime is a call break
of thought bearing geniuses
I guess, if not pretention
That I am a man.
That everything I bare is an ordeal.
And every ordeal is quite alarming,
Wither we may loss or won,
Is a drawback in His time....

Grateful
if i said my childhood was rough
i'd be ungrateful
but that doesn't mean the world hasn't been a drawback
to the fulfillment of my destiny
the devil in my brother is one of those factors
that drew me back in the search
to put my talents to work and use
i'm grateful to God
'cuz He never let the drawbacks take away my soul
but rather they helped me grow
in talent and self-esteem...

Premium Member I Am Exaggerated
I became the best poet
Greatest one in the paper
The school loved my work a lot
I was the only entrant

Would that put me down
Drawback illusion
No I excelled more
I kicked butt throughout

I was number one in school
Writing hungry poetry
Though superior I seemed
I am exaggerated

Premium Member Cupid Don'T Let It Miss
Cupid, drawback your bow, please
Don’t let it miss, don’t let it tease
Release the string, let the arrow wheeze
Squeeze through the trees
Carrying it off in the gentle breeze
Pierce my lover’s heart when I’m on my knees

Cupid drew back his bow while I proposed She saw the ring in my hand and froze Weeping shrieks of passion came up close Caressing my face saying I do when I arose

Baha'i temple and a raincoat
The overpouring raindrops, the incessant rain outside was telling me continuously,
She was a story to nay sayer
and he was a theme park to symbolic haifa.

Baha'i temple and a raincoat.
People get soaked there.
With theocracy, bureaucracy, faithfulness, faithlessness, midlife crisis and many more like all these.
We and the downpouring sounds outside, are a drawback, still
That heavenly sky is still a striker hand of an indoor game!...

Premium Member Making a Will
When that time comes to execute a will
don’t procrastinate until you’re fatally ill.
View it as your last opportunity to exert
your power over those wishing you inert.
It’s also your last chance to deny your heirs
the things they threatened should be theirs.
The only drawback, and it’s disappointing,
you’ll be denied to see the fierce in-fighting.
No great loss, so you shouldn’t be worried;
you’ve seen it daily long before dead and buried....

An Elephant's Heart
They say an elephant
Never forgets-
I put memories in poetry
So I'll never forget-
An elephant weighs
Ten thousand pounds;
A picture carries
The weight of
A thousand words-
A poem is a picture
Without a frame,
Creates an image
In your mind,
Creates an idea,
An emotion;
Creates- something-
In your heart...
I don't know how much
The heart of an elephant
Weighs, but they say
Grief can break
An elephant's heart-
I suppose that's the
Drawback to
Remembering......
