Grateful
if i said my childhood was rough
i'd be ungrateful
but that doesn't mean the world hasn't been a drawback
to the fulfillment of my destiny
the devil in my brother is one of those factors
that drew me back in the search
to put my talents to work and use
i'm grateful to God
'cuz He never let the drawbacks take away my soul
but rather they helped me grow
in talent and self-esteem
