Dracula -
A freaky friend of mine -
lived in a castle
next to my childhood town.
for John Heck's Contest: Clerihew
A bit of yellow tzuica
Hors d`oeuvres:trendy
Known by Dracula:brandy
Kept in big bellied
Fir wooden barrels
For weddings.
Strong!
Dracula looked around for a bite
But instead got hooked on a kite
That took him up high
Up high in the sky
Drax body begin to ignite
Well hello, young count dracula
Don't just stand out there... come in
~ Play a round of Monopoly?

Dracula was a blood sucking bloke,
Dressed in a flowing, black cloak.
If you looked into his eyes,
You'd be hypnotized,
Then he'd sink his fangs in your throat.
9/19/12
There was a Halloween hullabaloo
Ghosts, goblins and a witch with face of blue.
Dracula with his fright
Danced and caroused all night
I wish I had been there; now don’t you?
Frank N. Stein began to whine,
No one ever asked him out to dine,
Dracula said, " You can come with me,
I know where some good neck might be,"
But Frank thought he should decline.
Dracula who made curtains was never done
He worked from sun to sun to sun to sun
He was at his machine night to night to night
His sewing was exquisite, but his brain was not on very tight.
Scheduled to have a blood sample taken
A big sissy I've become, sweating and shakin'
It's just not right
It's Dracula like
Ain't human to stick a needle into someone's bacon
graveyard faerie you are so dainty and fine
Sitting on this dead skull, wish you were mine
She gave Dracula a glare and told him to go home
Your wife is waiting, you ugly evil philandering gnome!
candy testing Dracula wanted no help at all
He is so busy I barely see him this fall
The complaint was from his wife, a Zombie tall
You can do better we told her, but it was like talking to a wall
The doorbell rang in the dead of night
It was Dracula in the dim light,
Too tall for trick or treating
What have you been eating!
Here take my wife
Just being polite
Scheduled to have a blood sample taken
A big sissy I've become, start sweating and shakin'
It's just not right
It's Dracula like
It ain't human to stick a needle into someone's bacon
Scheduled to have a blood sample taken
A big sissy I've become, start sweating and shaking
It's just not right
It's Dracula like
It ain't human to stick a needle into someone's bacon
Please don't do that, it's really quite weird
Don't make those noises, it twitches my ears
Reminds me of Dracula
Or an angry tarantula
Emitting strange shrieks from the end that's rear
Your blood is ninety percent water
My blood is ninety percent sugar
I am glad I am me
And you are you
My blood cannot be taken
The transfusion would wake up the dead
Even Dracula has refused it
I gloat.
Baby Dracula stayed home to pass out the candy
We cannot divulge his real name; let’s call him Randy
He said giving to others felt wonderfully dandy.
Especially since his neighbor came by, a cutie named Sandy.
Barnabas Dracula Kitty
Barnabas darts deep in my closet each dawn
I go feed him at sunset but poof he’s gone
On Halloween night
I spot Barny in flight
His sharp fangs and black cape greeting kids on the lawn
Scheduled to have a blood sample taken
A big sissy I become, start sweating and shaking
It's just not right
It's Dracula like
It ain't human to stick a needle into someone's bacon

Night is ebony
October in flight
Vampire curie
A Halloween night
Dracula sandwich
Fear in the air
Green witch flies by
Some children scream
October high
Floatable
Transparent
Marvelous
Creepy
Spooky

Chimpanzee curiously concentrated ‘cause cheetah can’t.
cackling cadaver’s cadence cheered chimp’s cheery chance.

Transylvania
That’s where Count Dracula is.
He comes out at night.
He will cause some fright
when he makes his rounds at night.
Not like a watchman.
At the town blood bank,
he never makes deposits.
Withdrawals are made.
New tenant, new tile,
Got me Christopher
Columbus,
Didn't come to
Harm us
Or else, I tag him
Vincent Price,
Twice as nice in
Dracula Drag.
A message here
For moving blues?
Seems clear: Sail On
Girl, To New World
with flag unfurled
I am scared of baby Dracula the twelve-year-old said.
What frightens you? I asked him. Staring at his pretty head.
I think it is his teeth, they are pointed, it is weird.
Being a grim reaper, I think it is amazing that this is who he feared.
All
In black
Dressed
To kill
Dracula,
In guise
Of
Vampire
Sucking blood.
In your struggle
To survive,
You must
Hold
Out a
Crucifix,
Until
The
Morning
Light.
