An effulgent light dawns
Dispelling all darkness
Shattering veils of doubt
Illuming hidden truths
And bestowing wisdom.
For the first time
when love wind blows hard
through a heart,
No doubt
that heart looks
like an umbrella
blown inside out
I deny Socrates.
I don’t know that I don’t know.
But I believe it.
I deny Descartes.
I am, not because I think.
But I believe it.

is it the world?

Doubt is a monster.
subtle at first, it must be your imagination
but always sneeking slowly closer
only way you put off facing it is procrastination

had an upside down cap
more like a birdbath
than a toad's stool
a great talking point for the cane toad and bullfrog.
