Lost Thoughts

What made them think it was wrong...
For typed lines left unfinished
Are lost thoughts untold...
No love letters, no poems, not a song
One day the rusted keys fell cold

I wouldn't mind a little WD40 over this way, the rust is a bit deep. Really liked this Kelly!

Thank you, FJ... I am pleased that you enjoyed it... And, I'm sure that rust will wear away quickly... It's just like riding a bike :)

Yes indeed... and sometimes I wonder if one day I will just run out of things to say... and leave the pen lay...

Cold and rusted, mystery encrusted? I wonder how many; words are twin? To ones like these' (you've written in?) Indeed what thought is shadow caught? Re-living of others essence untaught.'

Whoa!! The rusted keys fell cold. My mother and father used to say I would rather wear out from working than from sitting around and rusting out. This reminded me of them. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara

Wow, a poem that sure make one think, Kelly, those thoughts locked away. Harry.
