Premium Member Chintzy In Quincy
A staid old art collector in Quincy
dotes on cats but with people is chintzy
He willed old shoes to his wife
and to his son a jackknife
His tabby got a Monet and Da Vinci

Premium Member Lord I Am
I who you worship
Know that I am Lord
Who everyone dotes -
The very one who will be with you
Who will see you through
Through and through
To the end
I will be with you
Don’t be discouraged
Just be
Who am I?
Lord
                     Love you...

Sad Song Boy
Oh please sing, my sad song boy

Make me cry for roses fading
Touch my mood with verse of pain
In your pool of sadness wading
Let me bathe, to grieve in vain

Sing to me, my sad song boy

Spin your song in which I’ll wallow
Winding blue ceramic notes
Tend your tune so I may follow
Agony, on which it dotes

Premium Member The Skylark
Somewhere in the park

The early skylark

Sings with verve, his stolen notes.

Weaves them with his own,

Makes them his alone.

On him the rapt poet dotes.

The poet will write

How in late of night

The small skylark sings his song.

He flies very high.

He seems above sky

Sounds like the sky sings along.

The Abc's of Love
LOVE:
Accepts, believes, cares, dotes, esteems, feels, gives, hopes, increases, jubilates, keeps, laughs,
mends, notices, offers, praises, quenches, radiates, satisfies, teaches, uplifts, venerates, watches,
x-halts, and yields with zeal.

Cde Alliteration
Composed Courage

Calm chivalrous child
candidly climbed ceaselessly
cheer crowned credibly.

Divinely Decked

Delicate Daisy
Donning dauntless deft damsel
Dotes Divinity.

Endless Emotion

Etched elegant eyes
Ever earnest endearing
Even ensued end.

The Word Keeper
collector of words
The word keeper
Although absurd
A daytime sleeper

Pick pocketing quotes
Reading again and again
On language she dotes
Blank paper and pen

Tuning you out
Without recognition
A jarring shout
When she finds the ignition

No harsh intentions
With all do respect
Too many extensions
For her to neglect

Wheels are spinning
Misplaced the remote
Her heart is grinning
From the lines she wrote...

When Calls the Heart
Tethered in moments of longing and passion the heart lapses into time framed by hours of sedation where there is joy there is you beyond comparison I respond to your caress embraced by your sweet bless When calls the heart Reined in by your dotes and feverish affection flavors of your heavenly concoction there is comfort in your arms I respond to your caress embraced by your sweet bless When calls the heart

Etching the Day
I love a room that overlooks
A river or the sea,
For, on a terrace with some books,
Is where I like to be.

A sunny seat, a view with boats
And birdsong in the air,
A husband who, upon me, dotes -
Why, nothing can compare!

A mid-day ice cream, browsing stores,
A walk along the shore,
A bowl of mussels, Guinness pours -
Well, who could ask for more?

But all good things must end, they say,
So now we’re heading home
And on the way, I’ve etched the day
Into my daily poem....
