Process

Abstract idea
Communicated/expressed
Verbally?
Diverted/digressed
To hieroglyphics!
(re)constructed/percieved
To conform(to)able
Comfortable

Ufo

Billie Boy was a lad from Down Under
Who with explosives rarely did blunder.
But he became diverted
By a blonde short-skirted.
Blam! Off to Wagga Wagga asunder.

Canvas

Every mind is painted on a separate canvas
Lines brushed to give edge to their scenes
With a multitude of colors peppered around
Bordered by abstruse and diverted memories

Hillary Here To Visit

An Exquisite Visit

Hillary was here  when she did visit;
Had been exceptional and exquisite;
Trump perverted,
And he  diverted;
Sure sad goodbye she would kiss it.

Franked

Jill Johns was famous as a hot dog eater
Not a soul in the country could defeater.
But some didn’t go in her mouth
She diverted them to the south.
Now ex-fans dog her as a wiener cheater.

End of a Universe

An astronomer in Central Park
gazed at the starry sky.
How will it end, he asked the dark?
How will the universe die?
And as cosmology revolved, in his diverted mind:
The answer for him was solved:
A quick blow from behind.

Imaginary Diversity of Covid

Everyone in the world got easily diverted with Covid
There may be a big shell game behind this Vivid

Things slowly come out to the tip
By the time it will just be a gossip

Everyone back to work to hit the clock
What had done is known to none...

Shshsh....

Soft Is My Destiny

Soft is my destiny, gentle
Never rough, nor tough nor hard
Fresh as the daybreak, alive
  Diverted, the approaching storm

Happy landings now greet me, open arms
Gone, the fearful take-offs, the turbulent flight
Soft is my destiny, gentle
  Safe in Love's arms, unharmed

Crying In Absolute Bliss

embrace what you want
to manifest new masters
of the earth divine gifts
inner child is healing
anger is melting to
compassion
vehement frequencies
fear is promoted to
courage
anxiety is diverted to
creativity
w
greed is washed in the
green ocean we are
crying in absolute
bliss

Broken

Heart tightens, stomach grips
Feelings burst
Her smell... her lips...
I feel like a ghost, an empty shell
Dying inside
Living in hell
Energy is so low
Body's fuel diverted to thoughts
Remembering painfully
All I have lost
If she even cared for a moment
Just one passing thought
It wouldn't feel all so pointless
But she doesn't

Writer's Block

Discounted sentiments
half truths and partial dreams
a broken life
and broken meter
no room left for rhyme

Cryptic messages
dire warnings and vain pleas
an empty soul
and listless pen
nothing written on the page

Diverted muses
forgotten thoughts and hopes
a deviated body
and empty head
no more divine connection

Another Rainy Night I Suffer

Drowned in the drumming wetlands
We wade through pools of glass,
                     wet smoke and sacrifice

A summer rain, warm as loam
As young fish we tumble
                     in pools of standing water

Solvent with rain, a child`s wet hand,
Diverted by the sea in our eyes,
                     we are more than water.

Bad Day

Brittle, uneven nails
Jabbing her skin
Kept her alert
While forcing a grin

Blank, saddened eyes
Skimming the faces
Sure, to keep moving
Refraining embraces

A mumbling cycle
Of indistinct chatter
Diverted attention
From what was the matter

Leaving the impression
She had little to say
With no one aware
She had a bad day

Most Times

45
I
Most times
Wish I would die
And get this life over
Its just forget to
Send my soul
To the end
And now I’m
Gonna be free
Oh joyous me
I am both
Sad and happy
Depressed
Delusional
Diverted
Need some time
To digest
My disgust

Another New York Day

Flashing lights emergency,
The police cars in a row.
Ask what’s going on and hear
That no one seems to know.

Fire engines block the street;
Cars have been diverted.
Soon the press trucks will appear,
Once they have been alerted.

Just another New York day,
Though tourists stand there gawking;
Natives give a glance and then
We shrug and keep on walking.

Ill At Ease Or Unfurled

Is your pathway to Heaven now structured,
with words that your verse seeks to pray

Is your stairway straight up or diverted,
  remittance and debts to repay

Is your meaning construed or verbatim,
intention set free of this world

Is your love what was given or taken
—your heart ill at ease or unfurled

Lessons

Vigilance deserted
Attention diverted
      you slid under me

Caught me senseless
     indefenseless
     essentially brainless

Tripped toe stumbling
Tangled tongue bumbling
     no intelligence forthcoming

Curled toes holding onto dignity
Praying for declivity into
     dissolvability

Circle gold clear gleaming.

Do you see the hilarity?

Patience Destroyed

Pale panes of melting ice
Mist up with breath
And drip, they drip
The panes begin to run
And begin to fall away
Suspended for a second for a minute
To be diverted or perverted
Barriers rotted
False words spurted
Tantrums, tempests, frustration
Aha! I am free
The rotted flesh deceiver
May I burst your bubble,
Slit your throat to save the trouble
I am the Shadow Reaper!

Slowly Dying

Slowly dying
Trapped in confusion
Captivated by illusion
Blinded by Lie's
Programmed by the system

Slowly dying
With
No knowledge of self
Culture destroyed
Living like a stranger
With hopes but hopeless

Slowly dying
No self believe
Motivation always diverted
Cos you must obey
And always live within
The circle
Same circle you disagree with
Yet can't escape

Faith In the Wind

I said it all long ago
once in a poem
Nothing to restate,
 no words to explain
The waters have traveled,
my ship has long sailed
Your curious intention
brings only refrain

All thoughts into memory
whose feelings have gone
The property of others
my words now belong
Wishing and hoping
the spirit disowns
All wisdom diverted
—to skip that last stone

Lost Ones

One scattered about roaming round in these perilous wilderness full of lost hopes and sagacity. Was a compass and a map given to you lost ones? Yet you chose not to follow its direction and chose your own paths diverted and went astray, you often screamed your a free thinker and yes most of us are. Lost ones sometimes most of us needs guidance so we won’t trampled the wrong weary roads lost ones.

Burning Fire

Memories are my wider thoughts
Peeping past my widowed weathers
Checking onto my lighted dreams
Gaping for my reckless tiers
Born with a curse to forget my dreams
To get diverted and to along the flow
To wave a signing off to my goal
To shake my hands with the world's filthy truths
Silence is my retrieval to the never-ending
Pain of my broken wings but nothing
Can break me that I am a born fire
