Broken

Heart tightens, stomach grips
Feelings burst
Her smell... her lips...
I feel like a ghost, an empty shell
Dying inside
Living in hell
Energy is so low
Body's fuel diverted to thoughts
Remembering painfully
All I have lost
If she even cared for a moment
Just one passing thought
It wouldn't feel all so pointless
But she doesn't

good morning Steven, a sad world it is my friend. many times In my past I allowed myself to feel broken. living the everyday life where my loved one left me dying from the inside, and drained the life out of my soul. you explained the past feeling perfectly. like you time heals. I look at them days. .. Now they are all just pointless moments. ..luv...linda

couldnt agree more, moments like those at least inspire me to write so others who maybe feeling that way at present at least can see its not just them that we all suffer the same at some stage and we always bounce back and move on,
