Appearing as rays,
Sun sends melodies of love,
On disgruntled trees.

Nature grumbles
trimming the trees
disgruntled homeowners
gather in much disarray

A brave matador, named Jose
Marched into the bull ring, one day.
There arose a great cheer,
When a disgruntled steer
Charged in, and chased Jose away.

Should a pig ever get laryngitis
Well he wouldn’t be pleased in the least
For, not being able to talk to his friends
He would be such a disgruntled beast

From tossing, disgruntled, away
To what sent back, leapt for, chased up
In a new way
All it allows, for young and old
Change, blowing a storm, of bouncy
Joy's precious hold.

(the word (moll) means a mobsters wife or girlfriend)
I heard of a wiseguy named Guido
Who suffered a waning libido
His disgruntled moll
Made a quick call
Now Guido is incognito

Disgruntled troops fall in line
when the head honcho appears
Long-time rebels go soft in the mouth
Seems they now value their paychecks
as they retreat to the womb
of a company experiencing a boom

Appears To Be Morose
Trump appears to be morose
Disgruntled and is really grouse
A real chip off the block
That ended up being a crock
And has often been bellicose.
Every path he is on always leads
to another war.

Joe is always feeling disgruntled
Can’t remember when he was last gruntled
His garden shed was dismantled today
It’s only two years since it was mantled
In the mirror his hair looks dishevelled
Rarely these days is it shevelled

A safe place to call my own.
Solitude find my home.
Visions of disgruntled past.
God please help me hurry fast.
Need release from my aching thoughts.
Take me away from here so I can replace my loss.
Sad,mad,glad to move on.
I know inside I am very strong.

There was once a recruit named Hubie Hunt,
Who hoped to fly but was told "no" so blunt,
"Sorry, you ain't qualified"
So Hubie was certified
To tote a gun as a ground poundin' grunt!

Joe Sandler states that he can handle
An ample band of verbal vandals.
Scanning a slew of scrambled samples,
Joe soon grows grudgingly disgruntled.
Top trophy goes to Mighty Sandler
For Tongue Twister triumphant handler.

Hide,
Scorched like gauze
Moving slowely and surefooted
A path no longer blazed yet
Bridges behind still burn
An opening,
A thousand eyes turn to stare
Fruitless in its search,
Faces no longer there
Disgruntled and aged
Grown shorter in its decline
The Dinosaur walks out of the
forest,
Onto the edge of time.

Verse
Lead strapped vest
Full-blown chest
A situation, confrontation
Disgruntled aggravation
Chambers crack
The sound of death laughing
Sudden impact
Face peeled back
Wrong way turn
Down train tracks
Could have stayed home
Life went too far
Madmen linger
With broken hope
Dead men wait
Gnawing on starvation
A just man
With no salvation
Escalated motive
One must survive
Cost to live
More than some can give

(Or Please God, Let It Be November 7th)
Dear senators, congressmen
Please hear my plea.
Your phone calls and commercials
Mean nothing to me.
Your muck-raking and mud-slinging
Go from night until noon.
This election could never
Be over too soon
Please understand, I've made my decision.
I don't need your e-mail or phone inquisition.
So please can we just stop the attacks
And go give each other a pat on the back.

Lousy Pancakes
Lousy Pancakes
Oughtn't be allowed
Especially when one
Has a limited income
They were meant to be a treat
For me to eat
But I wound up
Dissatisfied
Tongue - bleahed
And disgruntled
Pancakes are meant
To make one's mouth and tummy
Smile
But I am left
With a disagreeable expression
And a stomachache
If only my favorite cafe
Hadn't closed down
I would have not had to settle
For third rate
Lousy
Pancakes

Bouncing across the checker board
I'll captain this ship
Advance or retreat
Something in between
Power holds all the money
Its funny to be upset or
Disgruntled
Synesthesia rampart
As molten sense changes form
Its altered or reborn
A soul in the melting pot
Of Creation
So when its your turn
Ill observe
The movement and assumption
Which battery packed brigade
Made it across the line
Jujitsu in the heart of the city
Street stomping Wall Street papers

competition in the barnyard came to a screeching halt
after the farmer brought in his contestant, a male peacock
no fair! We should not have to compete with him!
He’s as fancy as a drag queen, and twice as arrogant!
Do you give up? Asked the farmer.
No, the hens and the old rooster said.
They were discouraged and disgruntled.
Who is the judge? Asked a wandering cardinal.
The farmer, the rooster told him.
How can you ever expect to win then?
We are optimists.

Winter won't submit to the whims of Spring,
constantly feathering the ground with snow;
burying any green shoots that dare show.
There are signs that Spring is scheduled to show,
but this inclement weather sure isn't Spring;
Winter winds howl in a blizzard of snow.
The trees with their frozen feet in the snow
are disgruntled with Winter's prolonged show;
shivering in the wind, they await Spring.
Melting snow signals Spring's about to show.

The Gods created music
so poets would not have to talk.
The dramatic or moody warblers
stood forth.
Now we had a sing-song mouth
for the scribes.
You’d think that both singers and writers
would be content to plaster the page and air
with these heaven-sent arts,
but
no,
poets sulked, grew sullen
their egos swollen to an eighth degree.
None could not be silent,
And so they invented ‘slam’ and ‘jam’
and every which way
to yells at us -
as if anyone gave a damn.
