The Trap

To worship everything
   and value nothing

An ego’s adulation
  —the soul despairs

(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2018)

Sometimes You Think

Sometimes you think
That nobody, never,
Nowhere, cares
But there is always
Someone, somewhere
Who secretly shares
 All your despairs

THE FISH @the CROSS

The fish at the cross;
Redeemed the loss;
All the hopes and despairs;
the LORD cares;
For revival of man;
Yes!, God has a plan;
And it starts.......
At the fish @the cross

Premium Member Repeating Life

I'm repeating my life
again, although you'll see I have
edited out quite a lot
adverts, slogans, despairs
so I hope you like
the dimension and colour scheme
I have chosen

I am a little concerned
though, why you haven't
shown yet

Listen to poem:
chaos doubts
calm smoothes over
ooze sticks
rose thorn pricks
friends support
foes rear up
beauty flaunts
ruin despairs
praise humbles
fakes reveals real
dreams awaken
recovery spits and stalls
debt a legacy all in

betwixt and between
amid it melds

Premium Member Magic of Minor

Under soothing minor key, soft and slow,
The Sound of Silence bares my heart’s despairs,
Hallelujah’s the fourth, the fifth strike low,
Schindler’s List sadness drowns my soul in tears.

The magic mood of music moves within -
Threnody trophy goes to violin.

The Incognito Noise

The incognito noise,
The unhealed trauma,
The endless distress,
The suffering infinite
Become the idiom,
That is testing us,
Breaking us from within,
The perennial angst and despairs
Need to be burnt into the ashes,
The pyre of it
Will detoxify the existence,
The Dawn...

Dear unanswerable creator.
Oh, merciful and carelessly brutal lord.
We are alive for a moment.
We have our pleasures and despairs.
We seem but episodes in a series.
A question whispered, like gentle breathing:
Do our frolics play on in astral syndication
or are we recycled into cosmic dust?

Beneath the veil

You're ever at my beck and call –
Perfection reflected from my mirror.
On a sail ~
A voyage that carries off my challenges.
All my sorrows and sadness ~
Locked away in your jail,
The yashmak of my despairs and desperation,
Along with all my worries and wailing.
Yet eye-service lurks beneath the veil.

Doom's Siege

Here I stand
in this arena of lost souls
My feet forced me here

My breath fails me
I smell dry tears
Soon,i'll be drunk from it

Tragedy has been here
Pain,a visitor this august
a stranger turned owner

Disaster's home lies here

Family of sorrow,you birthed
its agony fills a book
this houshold despairs

Doom thrives here

Repose

The light scatters,
The sun sets,
The purple twilight,
Brings a calm delight

Return home men weary,
Attempting to find a moment merry,
Kindle evening lights,
That illuminate their dull homes' nights.

With noiseless footsteps rises the moon
To dispel from the earth despairs soon,
Lays her gentle hand on the house,
To impart a night's repose.

Sunlight of gold
Dancing on the water
Of the slow paced
River where swans

Swim, get nourished
Play, where the swans
Form a heart when
Their heads touch

External sign of love
Mated for entire life
If one dies the other
Despairs, grief stricken

May love again
But possibly die from grief
Committed love contained
Why can't people watch birds
And do the same

A Hand Full of Love

Like a flow you entered in mine,
It would never happened with else.

It feels me like a divine,
But in few it despairs.

In me, somewhere you incline,
And my problem is that you too are aware.

Open your windows,
I will flow inside like a struggling bee.

It is yours shadow,
Which is forgetting me!

Accept my love's overflow,
Many love, with which do you agree?

The Ballet Dancer

Workout in spins on tip toes
To seek pleasures in woes
Reach out in graceful airs
Frivolous to the despairs;

Melodrama on the high
Sensuous coups in passion sigh
Acknowledged body motions
Ferocity in potions;

Figure speech measured in yearns
Geometric braces in turns
Scaling heights of perfection
Flights of pure satisfaction;

Let me set the stage afire
Rare exotic’s my desire.

Clubbing

Were it not for the
slung high, soul-less
pit of desire
the hope would live

But the ClubTart
always sees a long
emotionless, desperate lust
slipped out in front of her

Never recognizes a love
that knows no bounds
that is never meant for her
always meant by her

Her shining knight
despairs for her passion
but she doesn’t recognize his longing
and only his timeless dream gives hope

Sanctuary

My mind in reluctance shudders me
So what I love without desire
Frets my time, and wears my hope
Until the shoe breaks soleless
And the toes scrunge mud
Justififying the urge to get away
A man who is pure can enter there
And hold the horn
Until the lightning despairs
To ever dry his tears.
I need a world where children play
And the only meaning
Is the spurt of crystal joy
Telling the soul is satisfied.

Life's Menu

The world is a feast
hosting many beasts
lodging its beings
In a palace of bliss
Serving mystery meals
with knives and forks
tending to fangs and claws
Ripping through life’s menu
Feeding on scorn
Feeding on hate
Feeding on the love of men
Lavishly Catering out despairs
Stylishly rummaging
through the hopes
Spreading buffets
of selected illusions
spiced with chaos

The middle cross, 'redemption' declares, God's love revealed through Jesus Christ's death, His body broken, sin's brunt, He bears; One thief by His side, 'rejection' shows, Mocked Christ's deity, offered no pray'rs, Gave up his only chance at heaven; The other one totally despairs, Fears God ere taking his final breath, 'Reception' of Christ - paradise heirs.

Friendship

The friends we care for deeply
We do not truly know
Until there comes a trial
Which forces us to grow

And in our worst despairs,
Our greatest fears and pains,
With us, in these, they share,
Inspiring us to rise again

In matters large and small,
Through wounded feelings deep,
In little unimportant squalls,
Their company we keep

If there is purpose in this life
Few things can be more true
Than those who come to understand
The heart concealed in you.

99th Story

What a tremendous thing
We publicize our own thoughts
Phrases with Sorrowful voices
Urge of existing readers

Rubbing my bared face with sludge
Hopeless dark fantasies
Petrifying my self esteem
Glorious mysteries defaults

Glasses with wine ,holding upto the stairs
Viewed with blushful ideas
Strengthen my scars with awards
Drown my leg in summer hot springs

Oh what a tremendous things
With awful signatures
Praising our despairs

Premium Member Abiding Joy

Joy
Persists,
Does not flee,
Rests on promise.
Unlike happiness,
Which ebbs and flows like tides,
Joy despairs not, is crushed not.
When all else departs, joy remains,
For when man’s spirit is bound to God’s,
Joy makes a permanent home in his heart.

No More

Starting down a gun barrel,
But the trigger in my hand,
My very life is in peril,
To be here was never planned.

The end of all things is coming
For this my little lot
I’ve had enough of the running
I’d rather just get shot

To run forever more is hell,
From heart ache to ache,
To be locked in despairs cell,
Is now more than I can take.

The colours faded long ago,
Slipped quietly from my life,
I didn’t spot it as you should know,
They left only pain and strife.
