Life desiccated derelict in the desolate desert
Infuses perennial peace of placid oasis in heart
Feels in serene essence the spiritual sublimity
Emanating from the heavenly horizon of divinity.

Our Love Is
Like the last leaves of autumn
Scattered to the four winds
Our love is drifting away

Like a desert river
Long run dry
Our love is desiccated

Like the winter landscape
Stark and bare
Our love is Barren...

DESICCATED LIFE
Life desiccates you My heart melts on your hot dune Drink my oasis. In surging sand storm Sun scorches your slim shadow Recline in my arms. If clouds burst in mind Torrent of rain you can’t hold Flow it in my eyes.

In the sordid sky above my wasteland life,
clumps of gloomy cloud hovered glossless.
In their lengthening shadow,
a desert grew in my desiccated being.
In the dune of my devout desire,
God made an oasis for me.

Premium Member I Miss
I should have when I could have but did not,
In retrospect I missed a chance or two.
I see it now! If only then I knew -
I would have given life a better shot!

But who has time to waste on reminisce?
Past's desiccated dust settled by Now,
Long overdue wholehearted weary vow -
Time in and of itself one should not miss.

Sadness Grows
I see you little flower
Bright and quick
Spiralling in your own
Desiccated gown
Of earth and dust
Sadness grows
In the crack of broken
Concrete
Calling to
My pedestrian
Tendencies
Careful
Once
Meted out
I will
Trample around your
Petaled face
As I lumber through
The
The streets
In the
Cold light of morning...

Fall Flowers
The flowers have died back,
back into a darkening sun.

I did not see them wither
they fell between the light.

The blooms have slipped sideways
the way dead things do
when not tied down.

I did not see their passing,
I only saw the knuckled joints
of the dry stems
opening desiccated florets,

a last unraveling
of the no longer there....

Myth of Suicide
Be laid:
with your private wounds
beside me.
For otherness.

Can you come out from?
your flesh, and watch
the ribs, becoming
infrasonic ?

The desiccated dreams,
inhaling the fire,
drinking pain. You have
come full circle.

Can you describe the
journey of dead souls ?
Without tears ? Are you
going to reject the end ?

The ruins are always a beauty.

Autumn Boughs
I have heard the autumn boughs cry
Handling over their love letters to white wind
Letters they wrote to spring during ageing winters
Spring busy in flowering gave a brief glance
The green poems inscribed were left heart-broken
And abandoned to rustle upon desiccated terrains

An Inflammatory Condition
Hours nibble at a back strain. Tenuous strings were tugged lifting water bottles. You wonder how weak and fragile you are. How vulnerable to those ancient red tides within that can bend your iron like plasticine, turn you into a crooked question mark. Quartered by straining horses, neural fibers alliterate a thrumming fugue upon a desiccated elastic band; one now stretched far too taut.

Fair Weather Friend
Fair weather friend,
Thou art a beguiling trench
So deep your carvings burrow
That the gorge, like a ghost's cravenly respite,
Stares at my face every morn and night,
And I, a childless brazen woman,
Wander along the narrow path of servility
Of fear and pain,
And the nuances of passion
Has desiccated my body
To a state of apathy
That is forever succumbing
To what is known as the murderer of happiness.

Din of Decadence
I posed no questions
before my erroneous conception
I never asked to be or not to be
Serenading deserted streets with dirges
exploring absence in back alleys
reciting Ophelia’s soliloquy from memory
my words wasted in a world poisoned by apathy
Wearily I lay myself down
in the dust of desiccated dreams
whispering the single syllable
of your name so sweet
like black cherry bourbon and chocolate
hoping you might hear me
amid the din of decadence...

An Aureate Sunset
Above the desiccated desert an aureate sun sets leaving the sky glowing cherry red as if an endless fire burns through the night lighting the parched world below rejuvenating new life into the land to survive the next's day's torturous heat desiccated: thoroughly dried out lacking vitality or spirit; lifeless preserved by removing natural moisture aureate: having the deep slightly brownish color of gold 7/12/2017

Dry Summer
DRY SUMMER

On Harcourt Hill the summer grass is parched and desiccated
All dry and flaxen neath the beating sun, its message carried
To teachers’ throats to give a thirst, a craving unabated
For College now is designated: ‘campus dry’ and arid

But when this season’s over and the sun’s becoming mellow
And classrooms echo vacantly with words select and wise
Then, temperance repealed, with soft tones as a solo cello
Some sweet and blest libations will restore, revitalise....

In my deserted life emotions desiccated desolate,
but I knew in you was nestled a calm niche of bliss,
in the recess of your remote heart I couldn’t locate.
In my deserted life emotions desiccated desolate,
I knew with a gracious oasis for me you would wait,
soulful serene solace in sated measure I won’t miss.
In my deserted life emotions desiccated desolate,
but I knew in you was nestled a calm niche of bliss.

Some Love Story
Unlike love story

Sweet dawn you are not
in your embrace I`m not reborn.
A night with you gives birth to bitter regret.
A promise to not seek you out
will not help,
I love you more than life itself.
Nightfall brings long shadows
irresistible your allure,
Our lair is not feathering of tenderness
but thorns of demanding ferocity.
A pact we made in a church that reeked of burnt wicks.
desiccated roses and the redolence of death.
Our love is agony,
we can´t but clawing us asunder...
