Tim

There once was a witty "tot", Tim,
His "radar" detected all the slim.
With "level" of glee,
He'd "deified" spree,
"Level" elated, Thats Tim's whim!

No Good Deed

The Governor's name was Bob Neville

Who was known as a civic devil

But through deified greed

Never did a good deed

I don't think he was on the level

What I Said Would Have Lied

What I Said Would Have Lied

With what I said would have lied,
Saying Trump is actually qualified;
Good grief,
Beyond belief,
And did think he has been deified.

Sun's Presence

To most of us,
the Sun is a glowing ball
in the sky, giving us warmth
and light. Since ancient Egyptian
times, the Sun was deified
for its presence never faded
throughout the seasons....

Had Pride When With God Ride

when with God will ride
He made me feel great inside
would do with much pride

God we deified
always on Him we relied
together with abide

when out I have cried
love my each friend and food fried
told truth and not lied

We Panic In a Pew

Listen to poem:
Wow
Ten animals I slam in a net.
No lemons, no melon.
Was it a car or a cat I saw?
Live not on evil,
Step on no pets,
Stack cats
Deified
Madam!
Murder for a jar of red rum
Too bad I hid a boot
with a flask of rum in it.
Now I can't find it.
We panic in a pew!

The Nun and The Dog Palindrome Limerick

The lady was quite civic minded,
as a nun she always presided
midnight to noon on the harp
until her old dog did bark
Mum I fear your tune is one-sided!

The dog said must I refer you to this,
the deed you long ago signed with a kiss
and a pip on the head,
a tenet until dead,
my howls deified along with your riffs.

Of Cleanliness and Godliness

Of Cleanliness and Godliness, the adage appoints;
God will be proximate to the most cleanly joints.
Now, Craig’s place is clean, I mean, his pad is bright!
And Steve lives on Craig’s left while I’m on the right.

The way that I figure, if that old saying’s true,
Then Steve’s digs are painted a deified hue.
Steve must be holy as holy can be,
‘Cause he’s next to Craig’s place, and God is not me!

Live Each Day

Every day is a page to write a new story.
It doesn't matter how many typos there
are in your story. History has a lot of typos
not only done by hap hazard folks,
but also people who were deified and given
sainthood. It doesn't matter what writing
style you use; John Lennon, Nelson Mandela,
Mahatma Gandhi....all had their own styles.
Blessed with a new day to live each sunrise,
is a moment to write a new story. A page
has to be written something....

Who Are the Countrified

Who are the countrified?
The too-soon petrified
Who wooden gods deified,
With them identified;
Their ways not modified…

I see The Countrified
In “Norms can’t be defied!”
Who had gin edified,
With kernels satisfied…

Their cherished game slapstick,
After meals fingers lick:
Those who meet the sodden,
When much damp the wooden;
Dew-soaked their monthly shoes,
For which the police ask ‘‘Whose?”

On “Who are countrified”
Please, in me you confide…

Entropy

A dignified statesman,
A deified ‘Godman,’
A glorified star (of films or sports)
All tumble—
After a Starr report
Or an HIV test
Or a dope test.
Or maybe a Watergate
Or a Coalgate.
Media reports or media hype?
Whistle blowers
On whistle blowers—ad infinitum.
God and my God are antithetical?
Is rape the norm—
Where Rama and Sita are worshipped?
Whatever your belief,
Call it Postmodern Era
Or Kali Yuga
Or what you will,
Will entropy be the norm?
