Soon the world will need to wakeup...
Silver spoon or a few too many!
Like a cartoon joking at our flaws,
Or a deflating balloon without a cause.
Let's run from this typhoon of hate!

Eyes
My eyes, look into them.
What stares back at you?
Can you see the emptyness behind them?
Imagine two corks in bottles of wine.
Popping them out, and finding them full of nothing.
And me deflating with a hiss of dispair....

Holding On
the little man who sold balloons
was blown away by gales
he flew across the sea that night
and ended up in wales
he soared above a field of sheep
balloons deflating fast
and held on tightly to those strings
afraid to land at last
the moral to this tale of woe
it’s always painful letting go

for lisa’s contest...

The Pale Balloon
I float effortlessly alongside you
Tied by a silken string
To an outstretched hand

Once buoyant, light and full of hope
My exterior begins to shrink
Around my deflating soul

My pale skin once shiny and taught
Now loose and greying
Drifting slowly to the floor

The silken thread released
Loosely falling behind
With my sagging soul to the ground...

Permeates
permeates ah yes my sweet, the bloody heat, permeates and thrills, transfixed beguiled, entranced awhile, a steamy tale it builds, explosive in its ending style, deflating the hard inner child, so subtle sweet, yet indiscrete, who at the ending smiled. re: 'Public Enemy -The Haiku-' for p.d. who aint blue, blessings babe from me 2u... Premium Member Don't Rush

Don't rush Spring
because of everything it brings
Each day in a season is valuable to explore
To live, to love, to experience more
Find the light shining in the snow
or when it's cold, enjoy warm cocoa
There's always something in a day
to see, to experience, to share, to give away
Go with the motion of beauty, its offer waiting
To appreciate as it is, before it disappeara deflating

Ophelia
I feel solidified
Captured in blue-green horizon
They are eternal and faceless
My lungs; brown paper bags deflating
My milk structures are curdling
There are tiny mouths taking microscopic airs
Aerated and heavy as oxygen in a stone sphere
Gaumless and watched by black-ochre shadows circling
Compacted as mud underfoot and crushed
By reaching hands exploring my hollow flesh
Taking me further down and circles of dust
Rosaries in waterlogged,...

FLAT TIRE ROAD
Lying in wait, powdery brown dust hiding hard gray bodies. Jagged stone teeth reaching skyward, hoping to snag rubber prey. The ground trembling mouth opening as prey draws near. Pop! Fangs striking quickly inflicting jagged hole. Mortally wounded prey hissing out its last breath its body deflating. Another victim lost. Why do I continue Driving flat tire road?

So Over It
Maybe it was what you said
Or what you didn’t say
The calls and texts that went unanswered
Maybe it’s your failure to commit
To a social engagement you initiated
I’m feeling like I’m not worth your time
You interrupted this stint of solitude
That I was content with
Got my hopes up but now they’re deflating
I don’t even know why I’m mad
I’m way too used to this
I guess I thought you were different
You just keep letting me down
And you wonder why I’m single...

That Big Question
She pondered that big question.
What was life to her now?

Is she?
 on the road
to past repeating
 walking towards
psychotic beating
Is she?
 stumbling down
completely untreated
 crawling alongside
udder defeated

She answered that big question.
         This is her life now!

She is
 pivot point paths
fowardly creeping
 deflating reasoning
beyond just healing
She is
 wired inside
electrical feeling
 ending timed cycles
in holy completing...

Krazy Daze
We hit it once, We hit it twice
Isn't that bong oh so nice
The bigger the hit the bigger the cloud
The bigger the cloud
The more your proud
Sitting here in school today
Wishing just to fly away
Waiting for the day to end
Wanting just to get high my friend
Sitting
Wishing
Wanting
Waiting
Sitting here while my heads deflating
Need that smoke back in my brain
School is truly making me insane
Wishing my eyes would just turn red
Wanting that smoke back in my head...

Winter's Embrace
Dawn breaks through the darkened night
exhaling beams of sprinkled light
across dense blankets of snowy white.

Naked, bony limbs start snapping
reaching arms upward while napping
allotting chilled moss to lay wrapping.

Frosted crystalline water awaiting
the ice-kissed surroundings, while creating
melancholy moans of biting wind deflating.

Craggy hilltops bordering, in sharp peaks,
glistening barren landscapes in streaks
as relentless Winter hibernation bespeaks....
