I’m not really sure ~
though they always leave me deflated
Neuroses become elated
that high cannot be deflated;
Lusty infatuation
without distraction;
Coffee’s running around naked.
A lady out walking her dog
Encountered a pot-belly hog
A quick-fingered boink
Deflated its oink
So Harley roared off in the smog
My dear old uncle Bill
Thought he'd try a Viagra pill
The only affect
Is he got a stiff neck
Which seemed to amuse auntie Jill.
Their once was a girl in love
She knew he was sent from above
They danced, they sing they did everthing
But then he deflated in the tub
I sent my heart in the mail
And the stamp only cost 37 cents
No added postage for my deflated core
It weighs nothing
Just like your feelings for me
Form:
You see through my uneasiness
My ego deflated by your gaze
Who could survive the blaze
Of fire that gushes out..
set to devour.
Ashes
Dust
Light
Fell asleep with a broken guitar
and a bowl of cheese.
played basketball with a deflated ball.
remorse is forbidden,live in the
amusement of the puzzle.
the bubble
burst
indolesence
resumes
deflated
shaken
sombre
inside,
phobias form;
pity,pity
performs
her
siren
song...
Wild honey
Smoking trees
Hopping bunny
Higher fees
Wind blowing
Burning fire
Tragedy flowing
A deflated tire
Friends engaging
Believers speaking
Winds raging
Gas leaking
All hate has escaped from me
like a blue balloon deflated;
not to leave this
world with hate;
regret that I could
not show love
until it was to late.
At times l get a little depressed
~ Disappointed
~ Disillusioned

When selfish, thoughtless, unkind humans
Step in the way on life’s path to happiness
I concur with the Psalmist David
That You are my Lord and Shepherd
When down, deflated and trapped
When my enemies plans is to bombard
When they rejoice that am defeated
Out of their snare You have rescued me
Whirlwind
eclipse of emotions
shadow her descent
Falling
like a deflated balloon
against the masons hand
Crushed
Love escapes her callused grasp
Lay
I concur with the Psalmist David
That You are my Savior and my Lord
When down, deflated and trapped
When my enemies' plan is to bombard
When they rejoice that am defeated
Out of their snare You have rescued me.
My life and how I feel
Can be aliken to a bicycle wheel
Buckled punctured
Deflated and crushed
Discarded to a garbage dump
Unwanted useless forgotten
Beginning to rust.

The stiff neck from counterfeit blues…
I read about that in the news.
A guy from Sao Paulo
said he too can’t swallow,
but feels pretty good when he chews.

Response to John Read's Deflated
Jet Stream Mother,
your prayers go unanswered
The beginning deflated,
the ending in sight
Dancing in place,
the four winds become mistral
Your children left orphaned
—adrift in the night
(Dreamsleep: May, 2021)
When you have no words to write
And feeling much deflated
Know tomorrow you’ll be fresh
Again be motivated
Hence take a rest to be your best
Self care is quite essential
To go the distance in your life
Nurturing potential.
Deflated Raft 1 and 2 – Haiku
Deflated Raft 1
air depleted, sigh
rubber flat, spinning chaos
raft takes on water
Deflated Raft 2
floats on cold water
flat, under maelstroms great weight
watch the raft turn, sink
Fuming fires fell four feet
Before they found the flax to flame.
Then off they roared burning
Bush, brier and bramble.
But suddenly they came to sand
A clearing stopped their stand.
Down they died deflated, gone
Defeated by some silicon.
bruised and punctured
deflated and tattered
given warmth and a smile
in time this heart may mend

Napoleon, the Military Commander,
Rose to prominence as the indefatigable French leader.
Stood on victor’s podium for long, but Fate pulled down Bonaparte.
A deflated balloon in Waterloo, with his armaments torn apart!
Was she a dream
Or was she real
Makes no difference
How I feel
She once was here
But now she's gone
Makes no difference
Right or wrong
She's my life and death
Perfume with in my breath
Makes no difference
If I long
I'm still here
But she's gone
Scantily skipping imp,
Feet floating
Like an electrified shrimp,
Shoe sole flapping
Like an unpaid pimp,
Flamp-p-p
Listing limping imp,
Toes knotting
Like a ballerina chimp,
Shoe tongue flopping
Like a deflated blimp,
Flimp-p-p
