The Fox
The fox was looking for a mate
So, that he could take on a date
To help cure his lonely heart
But no one played the part
Which caused his heart to deflate...

The Hungry Games Continue…

In a rose monkey moment
Hungry rides its pale horse
Into the sunset—Stunned;
Basketball bellies
Refuse to deflate
Even in death.
The hunger games continue…...

This maybe a contest of sorts
But she said I can't write about sports
'Cause it's not funny of late
To see a man's ball deflate
And have to debate it in court.......Hahahahhaahh It's still funny...

If I Could
If I could
if they let me.
truly I say to you!
I would expel the rifle
that inhabits my unconscious,
would deflate all tricks,
unused
would deflect everything
impossible to savor me
in full consciousness...
I would abandon the spiritual void
to live naked
and full for love...!...

Out At Sea
When I cry out your name,
can you hear it out at sea?

My voice echoes inside my head,
but does it travel far beyond my bedroom walls?

My head is furnished with memories of you and I,
are these memories enough to keep our love going strong?

The answer lies within our swollen hearts,
but will they ever deflate to reach what we've been looking for?...

A Politician Buying Hats
By Franklin Price
9/7/2015

A politician buying hats
Would be a sight to see
I hope you have a very large
One big enough for me

I'm glad you have those double doors
They barely clear my ears
In my initial searching
Nothing large enough appears

If I was realistic
Allowed my ego to deflate
You probably would have my size
A seven or an eight...

It could raise all this.
Or it may inflame that.
As Your vision spins
both ears start to flap.

So, hold on a minute.
No need to act fast.
Knowing those are risks.
Don't burn out and crash.

These Magical pills
smell like bad fishy trash.
Just take another hit
but pony up the cash.

Say, it gives You the chills.
With a gray itchy rash.
May erase this.
And deflate that....

A Date
Too soon, too late
a sip of wine as evening awaits
  followed by dinner at eight
you wanted more than what was on your plate
foolish heart you knew I'd hesitate
while clinging to my arm at the gate
I kissed your forehead your ego to deflate
sorry love, I never took the bait
no need for any long debate,
  must I translate
  to help you graduate,
it was just a date....

The Professor's Career At An End
The lecturer behaves
in such an intimate way
not taking the standard distance
that is derived from the
model of aristocracy,
innate superiority
parenthood.

The students believe
cracks in the demeanor of the teacher
mean that knowledge,
power,
the power of knowledge
is going to leak
like warm gas
and that the teacher will deflate
hissing onto the classroom floor....

Punishing a Defaulting Unionist
Loosen now his tight valves.
You do nothing by halves
Not like you've bruised his calves
While he's not got what salves...

His tube deflate through valve:
With six-inch nail hit valve,
The air in tube to halve;
When cops into it delve,
Say "A case of mad valve!"

Ask me my opinion:
It's a heart cast- iron:
A daring to pinion
The arms of one's union,
Dues slicing like onion
In Crowned Lion's Union....

Delicate in shadowed signs, quiet gentle whispers dispelling fear.Imagined shapes are erased and moods show through.Sudden melancholy ,obscures the ligt,,distracted perceptions &,obssessions deflate in despair and crush unbelief.Mediocrity breaks down with a true change of heart. The imprinted momentum brings pleasure without measure. The empty space ,now filled by life leaves no echos in the heart in this quest to hide delusions....

Promises
Promises, Promises
By Kevin Robey
March 20, 2014

Come on over my friend
While we still have time
Where battle scars end
Is where we will climb

It’s not too late
We’re not too old
Let anchors deflate
The lies we have told

We’ll settle down here
It’s much safer now
No monsters to fear
These dreams we allow

It’s ok to breathe my friend
No demons around this town
Life starts just around the bend
Promises that’ll never let you down

   Promises…

      promises…...

Premium Member The Weight of Guilt
Guilt is a heavy load
     A conscience can only carry
                  For so long
      Before it collapses under
     It's unwieldy encumbrance
       A pressure on the lungs
     Pushing out air, threatening
    To smother and deflate them
          Completely of oxygen

Premium Member Justice and Karma
“An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,”

will justice be served by this ancient truth?

Eyes can't be restored, nor teeth grow to chew

by just doing back what's done unto you.

Inaction may shock your foe's warring heart;

deflate his command the less you take part.

Perhaps walk away, do not fuel the fight

let villain's defeat claim his sleepless night.

Let justice be dealt by his Karma's fate;

be free from the task to strike back with hate....

Premium Member Forsaken When Shaken
Love's forlorn curt sojourn, forsaken when shaken
By trifle of qualms, charms and alarms
Withers on vine, no fruit to crush into wine
Besotted by starters, but becalmed when main course falters
How often love's hors d'oeuvres flop and scuttle main course and sweet dessert
The seeds of like, first sight thrill, and eye to eye sparkle and interplay
Sprout too fast and wilt in the light of day,
Spurned shoots thrown down the gauntlet, deflate, die and get flushed away....

Closing Without Closure
Sometimes it’s just over.

It might come
with a warning,
it might come
out of nowhere.

Might go on
longer than it should,
then come crashing to a halt.

Sometimes it’s just over.

You get that feeling
in your gut,
that the light
has been turned off.

And you feel
your joy evaporate,
and your lungs deflate,
and you’re left
sitting there,
unsure if to wait.

Thinking.
Wondering.
Left stuck with reality.

The one thing that’s never ending....

2020 Vision
Here’s my 2020 vision:
Nothing much will change.
Yet, like every new year
I feel hopeful, which is strange.

All the talk of starting fresh,
The so-called wiped-clean slate,
For most is like a huge balloon
Just waiting to deflate.

The resolutions that we vow
This time will really stick
Will probably not last a month,
Or fizzle much more quick.

Still, there’s a chance determination
Might just persevere
For in 2020, vision
Should be smooth and crystal-clear....

Creation’s Crust

Performing - a chorus line – life dancing
the golden haired seductress saunters past
temptress – pheromonally enhancing –
sweet aura that descends as breezes pass,
the innate scent of instinct’s net is cast.

Mock battles that decide a species fate
feathered prance seeking egos to deflate
survival of the fittest will ensure
that seasons are fulfilled and then abate -
the struggle of creation thus endure.

we enter
