Premium Member A Sickness
The cruelty I can't abide,
The type that we human beings hide,
Some put on a pleasant face,
While hiding thoughts, debased,
Making most feel sick inside....

Premium Member This Ship Tableau
Once supremely placed,
This ship, now, lay razed;
It's pushed, pulled, storm-chased,
By weather, debased,
Rust, rot, and moss laced,
Stands, yet, greatness graced...!!!

Purpose
I knew all along
there was a place
a purpose for me
I've searched diligently
grasped strongly
debased with desire
Wanted too much
to see the goal
Now I surrender
and you come to me
with caresses and care
to ease my burden
and be my special love
with gifts from above...

Sweet Thing
Confection caught between your teeth,
I wasn't good enough to eat.
You Spat me out after the taste,
was cloying to you and debased.
While I, there on the eaten side,
gave up my heart and soul and pride.
  Tasted ,Wasted,and Defiled..........
What kind of beast consumes a child?...

Cancel Culture
Cancel culture

They are coming our way barefoot, and red dust
we sink into apathy.
Churches made into dance halls and brothels.
Christianity is dead, our culture based on our faith
has been debased it, is called egalitarianism.
Banners and sword.
Heads roll down a hill into a blazing valley.
God has forsaken us....

Rainbow Kid
I am a rainbow kid
I take pride in who I am
And embrace the crown as I am
These colors I embrace,
This rainbow, running through my blood stream.
They call it debased,
But, I call it redeemed.
My identity I embrace,
Out of the ordinary,
I've Created my own special place.
Showing a full display to the world,
Freely,
Unapologetic,
And delightedly...

Premium Member Let One Loose
I accidentally let one loose
Sipping the communion juice

The priest looked down
With a disapproving frown

Some parishioners gasped
Mothers, their babies clasped
The sexton's voice rasped:

Via the air displaced
We are all disgraced
The Lord's name debased ...

That would've been the end
But then I did it again ...
A little louder this time
  ~ To highlight the rhyme...

Evolution of Freedom
Broken cups
goodbye letters
sounds of anger
doesn’t get better
quiet life
calm as can be

Then slammed
sliding back
chaos sings
battered wings
shattered dreams
pain of fire
heart ripped out
debased demeaned
always unseen
shut doors
locked gates
eyes wide open
see no fate ..

Separation
of a
Hallucination
in the
Annihilation
and all
Validation
in the
Evolution
of our
Freedom...

Measuring the Worst Rape
I have the criminalizing tape
For measuring the worst rape
And appropriately dealing with the Debased Ape:
The length of time victim’s mouth had remained agape
And the rapist’s victorious shouts of YEE-EP!
The ‘I-can-choke-you-to death!’on her nape
And victim’s tightening teeth of sour grape;
Also, her dozen-times-tried-dozen-times failed escape
And the iron pants she would now over the poor thing drape....

Premium Member Life Experiences
Life Experiences Written: by Miracle Man 6/10/2017 Life experiences frequently equate to sage, And our days, once past, can’t be erased. While some attain wisdom derived from age, Others see years elapse while being debased. Though earthly days be enumerated as sand, Each day allotted was through God’s grace. He holds microscopic moments in his hand, And affords us choice of an afterlife place;

Storyline
Small Saudi the boy
Five years or so
And jovial the toy
Intriguing the foe

Six year he wrote
Every time a pen
A drop of flight
To land a new story

Every melody that come
Carrying the tunes of hope
The dance fuming soup
For all that knew

Saudi now stouthearted
With a promised utopia
Every ink drop debased
To quell apparent dystopia

At last a book length
Not a toy full ration
Saudi the man and gentle
For history the olfaction...

Premium Member Who Was Here First
Who Was Here First (The politician Or The Snake) By: Tom 3-24-2020 I’ve heard it said lately and then repeated, COVID-19 gave political snakes hope. Of adding their wants to a list first tweeted, whining as if hung with a new cotton rope. This brings to mind a political snake saying, “never let a serious crisis go to waste.” A dangerous game politicians are playing, mission statement reads, leave the other debased.

Sins
Ashamed to avow my sins,
A burden mine alone to bear,
Broken beyond repair,
Baptized in gold to fill the cracks,
Restless nights, Velour gowns turning to sacks
No amount of gold brings relief,
Debased by lies and deceit,
Beg for forgiveness,
And you shall be forgiven,
He, who knows all, saw underneath my veneer,
A pain, a woe played for deaf ears,
I beseech my lord to forgive my misdeeds abhorred,
Let my midnight scribble turn into beautiful word....

Innocent Encounter
Rain water dripped from her shaggy locks;
Her youthfulness reflected through her thin frocks.
She licked the water balls falling on her lips,
Careless and unaware of the raunchy jumps,
Energy of her virginity though shone like moon,
Yet, her sheer beauty was to be debased soon.
Her full and round contours allured the young eyes,
Voyeur’s lust for dirty pleasure, to take tries.
Boldly, she neither did permit nor submit,
The purity of her face that was innocent....

The Consuming Foe
Adamu is missing here
He went a road all mortals go
Silence grace the missing space
Igniting our heart throb

Unhurriedly death dragged air
Out of his craving nostrils
Leaving a speechless mould
For he tested positive
He had the consuming virus.

See Adamu,
Stiff, benumbed and deaf to comrade's call
Flying into a plane
From which no man has returned

Rickety old Mr. Death
Conquered this promising child
Death has debased his proud heart

This poem is fiction....

Premium Member Who Will Pay
Who Will Pay? (Jesus Paid or You Do) Written: by Tom Wright 11-4-2016 Some men’s legacy will be one that’s disgraced, They live life, morally bankrupt, and debased. While others seemingly live a life that’s blessed, Because of transgressions that were addressed. At the cross Jesus paid the price for man’s sin, We’re judged by the condition our soul is in. Either we accept His payment or later we’ll pay, They’ll be no second chances on judgment day.

Split Personality
Cant seem to establish a grip
Business management slip
Psychology debased
No thought holds inspiring fate
All nimble thumb blame games poisoining
This suggestible day

Then amid smoke stacks and foggy mirrors
The coil of regret burns away
Time is slipping
Where has family been all these years

What have i been doing in this choatic mess
Where might it lead
Each suggestible day burning, bleeding
What to do with anger and hate
This frozen identification leaving
Where to go
I already know...
