A daughter never forgets her mother

Love For Latte

Basking with Latte,
lounging and contemplating,
I rejoice in the moment,
for life,
my daughters,
family, friends
and my charming abode.

Point Taken

Jan's cucumber is on display
To many a mother's dismay
They all hope and pray
Their daughters won't say,
"The nuns never use it that way!"

Mom’s words cut like a knife, honed razor sharp
Which shattered my new wife

March arrives
With lily white eyes
Cotton styled on wind tossed piles
Her lilac daughters, made of water
Gently form leaves on greening trees

Tears Hard As Shells

Her gaze traces an island
Scanning a plagued village;
Tears swell from a tidal fury
raking bushes, shells--
In Maldives, she wails
For lost daughters.

Family

Family I hold dear.
  Forever in my heart.
   Fortunalely for me
     From my daughters three,
Flows love right back at me.
