music in the bog

marshy mossy fly
fuzzy crowding cattails
green bulldog croaking

music in the bog
evening buzzes and humming

Deafening Silence

It's here,it's everywhere

Fogging up the place
Crowding up my space
Echoing in my mind
lengthening the time

What's here,nothing only

#So lonely

Infatuation

Another thought elicits it's
familiars
Crowding their weight into the
chamber
Of my weary, doleful mind

What right does he possess
To exhaust my idle time
By way of his enslaving image.

Alone

I hear sounds
i see people passing by
and cars flashing past
the window
I am alone
But not entirely alone
for in my mind i see
wave upon wave of memories
crowding the shore of my reality

At 7

Take a seat, perhaps stand-
and stare,
Look o’er and see
A cluster of clouds crowding the calm sky
Step outside
Embrace, and be content-
watching the sky at 7

Foreshadowing

Crows gather.
Turtles float deeper
on the buoyant pond scum.

It's going to be a beautiful day
in Alaska.

Here,
the crows are crowding trees,
breeding shadows.

The sky looks like it wants
their black wings.

Just August

The fields are bursting
and jaded trees await fate,
among crowding blooms.
Moonlit nights attract mauve dreams.
The lusty year has ripened.

End of the Rainstorm

END OF THE RAINSTORM

Bleary and menacing, crowding the sky,
The dark wet cloths of night
Filled and brimming with teary eye
Blow now as dry morning-billows white.

As I cross my bridge
They wipe clear the troubled blue void.

After Spring

Sunlight falls through trees
A wind lifts the leaves in praise -
A flutter of birds

Feathers flock the sky
And flowers full puff their cheeks -
Clouds crowding the eye

Robins sing love songs
And stones in their silence sleep -
Summer has began

Tapes and Books

They're crowding me out,
Tape, books, I live in
Three square feet,
My collecting days,
Led to my defeat.

Solitude Saturates

Angst acutely augmented all crowding
Aligned to semisubmersible state
Safely seeking solitary succour
Propitious perfect proposal provokes
Reckoned rated Racoon River Retreat
Lay luxuriating lodge location
So surrounded, solitude saturates

I Take Out My Camera

shiny verdant water lilies
crowding each other in a frenzy
frog mob late to the party

tiny pink blossoms give a glimpse of promise
a hint of spring, a festive look,
A dressing up of the pond

life is happening.
enjoying the scene
I take out my camera

Untitled #105 / Washington Midnight

On a Washington midnight thirteen bug-eating bats
descend upon the Air Force Memorial spotlights
drawn to swarms of their favorite insect dinners.
What a spectacular sight! Wings of evil crowding ‘round the spires!
But they cannot compare with the other species of bloodsuckers!

Hollyhock Cottage

bright blooms surround it
it has an old fashioned charm
colorful cottage
most folks stop to admire it
on their journey through the day

the road of beauty
leads where the blooms are crowding
in the still morning
blue pink red yellow and black
purple and cream-sunshine's dream

Inenarrable

Some days drip synchonicity -
a white strip of sand, an emerald sea
gulls and wind and walking into heat
slapping the wet beach with our feet
feeling them cooled by rhythmic waves
people crowding under colored umbrellas
happy chatter and harmonic peace
yet over all- inenarrable.

Show Me

show me
me the way
way out of here
here, my hell,
hell everywhere and anywhere
anywhere I would rather be
be alive and well,
well, what do you say?
say the words
words to unlock
unlock my cage
cage crowding around me, much too small,
too small, I can't breathe
breath is gone forever

So Much Less

I’d love you less if you were here
crowding my dorm bed, nibbling me,
rubbing me like sandpaper

I’ve come this far all by myself
I am a stone, leave me alone

Let’s keep it nonchalant
don’t kiss me on the lips
don’t label this a situationship
because then one of us would need to care

Cyclononane

A nonet of carbon atoms
dances around its nonexistent
center, morphing into an infinite
series of noncoplanar nonagons, a nonconformist
to aromatic laws. It fidgets
with its configurations, a noncooperative
cluster of nonuplets crowding electron clouds, agonizing
into nondescript structures
with nonsense names.

Do You Remember

A blue Sunday sky
Fluffy white clouds start to build
They grow and they grow

The clouds are crowding
Some thunder and lightning
Maybe some light rain

When morning rises
The sky and heavens are fresh
It is a new day

Do you remember
We once filled the noon day sky
Do you remember

Family Road Trip

Daddy make her scootch over
She's crowding all my space

Kid's don't eat all your snacks
You're not in some race

Can you change the radio station
This music isn't good

Honey pull over to the side
There's smoking under the hood

Mommy can you stop her?
She's looking out my window

I don't wanna read a book
I want my gameboy nintendo

Rain Droplets

Rain droplets like memories Drip from the low fog shrouding Whip-poor-will sings from treasuries Day will bring out crowding But all in all, I must breakaway Say_ believe in old prophets. The Bible don't disobey. Hear it_ in all rain droplets

Lightning Laughs

clouds extend a high five to each other
crowding and swirling
into a gray frenzy
worse than subway pushing

lightning laughs, choosing her tree.
a tall mighty oak, a hundred years old.
In seconds she splits it in half
zapping it with a blast that scares the family inside the house

oozing with power she grins at the clouds
reminding them who is boss
