The iris burst forth
Elegant lacey splendor

Short is their spring reign

In a court of lies

His court case came fast and quick

Juvenile Court, though I thought I saw
the outlines of a couple dozen young souls,
already forgotten, bored as me
but blind as bats.
Lawyers supply inept legalese.
One while defending my Pekinese,
went into a stupor,
made one fatal blooper.

The court jester made everyone laugh,
Balancing on his head a rather long staff,
But when it came crashing down
Hitting the king on his crown,
He was chased down the castle path.
looking out the window from floor five
I see that boy
giving it large, playing his field, having a laugh

but when the whistle blows I see him turn
back into his shell

No matter his crimes, he's
immune from them all..
Through all the court systems and
charges that pend, and racial
slurs that should offend, Humpy's
Maga might may win in the end..
