Such a wonderfully delicate bloom with such an ugly stalk; however, there is nothing ugly about your poem. Like it much. Congrats on this fine selection. Love, daver

My favorites too. We had a lilac bush (tree) and, along with other of our property invaders, neighbors cut it down. I miss it every spring. Good double. Love, daver

What a striking image -- irises as "queens of the garden." They certainly have incredible beauty, Barbara. One of my favorite flowers. Excellent poem! Love, Carolyn
