shooting stars
petals in mid-flight,
leaning toward dawn light~
small constellations trembling
Dodecatheons
twilight holds her artisan silhouette-
delicate afterglow as
constellations ascend

Constellations shine
over the maroon cave' mouth
and eerie darkness.
Entered in Gareth James's contest,
" Familiarity Unknown"
She wears the night sky on her face
Constellations for her freckles
And wisps of shooting stars hang
Forever falling from her ears.
Stars
twinkle
from afar
heavenly gleams
with galactic glow
constellations
of Greek gods
glowing
orbs
Stars
calmly
live in space;
hiding within
all constellations;
seeking them out
takes some work
from the
eyes.
Our love is about
Two stars who belong
To different constellations
Worth-reading,
Worth-telling,
Worth-sharing,
To the world
Watching us
Delusional stars,
constellations bend the light;
Shards color the ground
displaying blood on the dirt,
dark shadows light the pigment.
Twinkling spheres emerge,
Seasonal constellations:
Stargazing nude limbs.

in mother sky's womb
thousands of constellations
Father's creations
Clusters of stars over the starlit sky,
soon become nothing to the human eye,
use your wings and take to the stars,
before your back into the worlds arms.
at sunrise
Venus buckles
and suffers the shades
holy palms lend an ear
spinning jewelled
constellations
glide
silently turning
in the inverted dark
I adore you as much as I adore thousands of stars.
I adorn you with all of my kisses and expressions of love.
I adore you as much as the constellations above.
As always they will shine
Afferent archery
As sparkling efferent
Avid constellations
Act, salty and feline
Adulterous winking
Aerobics of nature

The moon risen high, over
the burial vault of the sun
to the accompaniment of fireworks
from competing constellations
~ All this, before suppertime
Strawberry constellations twinkle
As seeds for meteors impact fields of greenery.
Abundance grown, as liquified elixirs are sown,
So unlike any ambrosia ever known.
The sun still shines
bells yet chime
Vintners make wine
constellations align
Hearts intertwine
even poetry rhymes
Are you still my Valentine?
a pitch dark black sky
Jupiter Saturn close by
constellations glow

From finite
Garner nostalgia
From olden days;
Golden rays,
Green boughs,
Soft meadows,
Stars reflecting hope.
The elder watched
The constellations,
Shaping and re-shaping.
Like a note in November
Left on some treeless leaves
Still as snowflake constellations
Made lost along the drainway
And till unsighted
These words falling, fleeing
Into Winter.
I want to dance with him throughout all of the bright constellations.
I want to prance with him beneath clouds of condensations.
I want to entrance him while we're under the influence.
Up in the clouds and in between the meadows
Your eyes painting a shimmering picture
Of my whims, muses, stars and constellations
That won’t be brought down
If I keep staring into them
world of dreams
made manifest
imagination extolled
