We dream of a fling with a blonde
With red heads and brunettes we'd abscond
Yes--carried away!
But if her locks be gray
Our minds with hair dye can be conned

Stolen Identity

Cannot type faster than this
Trying to save the less me in bits
Strangling in a conned network
The rules and forms have me beat
One last breath before I quit.

Mrs Claus Is Conned

His wife did the presents instead,
as Santa was staying in bed -
he thinks she is slow
and she didn't know
the elves were all giving him head!

Fidelity

A face is just a mischievous display! so many people get conned! If u are a true lover! then u need to be a love digger! Dig inside not outside! Dont try to find the body, look for the soul!

We the Conned Demned

feels like I'm hanging
Grin with the swing
my would be judges
stare at feet
while my bulging eyes
see the wind
as it flutters
the tree at the end of the street
you can't kill free
it will always breathe

You Get What You Pay For - For Contest

The wizard just bought a cheap wand.
He knew right away he'd been conned.

A yellow Lab pup;
what it conjured up.

He'd asked for a young feisty blonde.

Premium Member Good and Bad

There was a man with much love in his heart

Who could not tell the good from bad apart

He found every person nice

Fact that made him pay the price

Was conned by a knave who him did outsmart!

Vagabond

The joy of a blue vagabond, had dawned
When she became fond of the mystic bond
Smoke from her wand and a chair by the pond,
On a night that conned the morning sun, blonde!
Shimmers through the frond, twinkle to respond
The recluse, donned with verses from beyond.

The Pulsar In Death

Conned and figured as natures blue hand,
The remains of pulsar reaching outwards;
Against nebulas field, ions-electrons
Magnetized to escape as X rated pulses:

Spun matter to burn lets nothing escape;
After eon's we learn what they do today.

A True Friend

i'm stuck between heaven and hell
with secrets i can not tell
who to trust and who to believe
these thoughts i perceive

i'd like the world to be worthy
of trust and to be less nervy
always be ready for that stab in the back
the world is cold it cares alack

i'd really love to have a friend
who i can trust to the very end
and never feeling down or conned
for this friendship time often longed.

Country Club

Lure of luxury
Mingle with the elite
I will be swept off my feet
Impressive facilities
Appalling abilities
I want to improve
And find a social groove
Big money I will pay
So that I can play
I love my sports
And people of all sorts
Something is not right
I analyse my plight
Money is their game
I’m just a name
Polite to my face
Another verbal ace
Conned I feel
What a rip off deal
Not destined for a good time
Didn’t expect the three month leaving fine

Premium Member The Stranger

She knew she wasn't the
first shy girl conned beneath
a scintillant moon.

Why do boys lie so
- inveigling fabrications
- hoping to impress?

Why interlace fibs,
when, from first sight, she had longed
for his carnal lips?

Now doubts danced - as if
evil spirits were called and
asked to watch, and gloat.

"I can't talk to you
again," she said, "after all
- you’re a stranger."

She doubted he cared
- she doubted everything, like
she had a soiled heart.

There’s a cry for help, we choose to ignore, although our first response was to reach out, for it’s a pattern, we have seen before, thus valid is our thought, that does now doubt, so stifle empathy, that tends to sprout. We wish that heart over our head holds sway, with love and light divine, as our mainstay, yet there’s no need for us to trauma bond, so we guard our well being, as we pray, for where is the fun, in being so conned? 24-October-2021

Shannon Loves Covid-19

A loser,
A narcissist,
A liar,
A thief,
And a louse,
She Conned my poor mother,
then moved into her house,
Suddenly mother dies,
Under whose care?
Was there foul play?
Only Shannon could say,
Then as rep of her estate,
She continued her ruse,
Began spending money,
with nothing to lose.
Finally removed,
Judgment Awarded,
$54K
But will we ever see it?
Chances are slim,
For her crimes,
Jail is fit,
But why does she not go?
Apparently Covid 19,
Protected the hoe.

Weathered Wasteland

Over in the weathered wasteland.
Where angels fear to dwell.
Are understanding's no one can understand.
And you swear that you're in hell.

The mountains stand before you.
Too high to see beyond.
You can't find a way to get through.
And it feel's like you've been conned.

So as you stand there idle.
Too lost to turn around.
You build your golden idol.
And hope that you get found.

The world is slowly dieing.
And cost is out of hand.
So many have stopped trying.
In their own weathered wasteland.
