Notes About The Poem

" KIND HEART " MY PHOTO, ©

Good and Bad

There was a man with much love in his heart

Who could not tell the good from bad apart

He found every person nice

Fact that made him pay the price

Was conned by a knave who him did outsmart!

I guess we pay the price of gullibility, as your limerick calls our attention to the fact that sometimes one must trust our gut instincts, slightly more than the love in our heart. Awesome as always my dearest Demetrios, point taken....Maria xxx

Certainly we do my dearest friend, Maria! I know so many good people who have fallen victims to criminals because they were good and never believed someone would wish to hurt them! You must know...Even goodness should have some limits because only the good suffer! I appreciate your kind visit and wonderful comment! Hugs xxx

Great message in your limericks Demetrios, there are some lovely good natured people about and it does anger me when lowlifes take advantage of them for their own gain. Tom

It angers me as well my friend, Tom, especially because I have been victim many a time myself. Now I have learned my lesson but still have to remain vigilant. Thank you for your precious comment dear master of Limericks!
