blade of grass is in
seven shredded pieces. one
wish scatters with the
pieces -- confetti caught up
in gravity dodging wind.

falling
sky crystals
tapping pelting
rat-a-tat-tatting
sidewalk prancers

WITHOUT SOUND
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
leaves fall to the ground
bed of autumn's confetti
sleeping without sound
A lovely young lady named Betty
Was covered in coloured confetti
She had just wed
An Italian named Fred
And now she is Mrs Betty Borletti
The Easter egg hunt was a blast,
With everyone running quite fast.
Confetti in our hair
Not to mention underwear
Let's hope that dye isn't cast.
sakura petals
fall like pink confetti
spring gust scatters
Winter coats proliferate,
the earth is stilled by snowflakes
slowly drifting, swirling, shifting,
sifting down, a whirling,
curling cloud of white confetti.
be confetti
be a parade
be a butterfly
be a rainbow
be a waterfall
be yourself
be loving
be kind
be forgiving
be respectful
be a willing set of hands
Winter coats proliferate,
the earth is stilled by snowflakes
slowly drifting, swirling, shifting,
sifting down, a whirling,
curling cloud of white confetti.
chocolate, vanilla,
covered with coconut-
clusters, sprinkles, and
creamy frosted flakes
confetti' ed over it
Oh, lovely month of my birth,
Showering so much delight!
Your colorful canvas on earth
Are trees with fiery leaves so bright,
Heavy rain of confetti keeps falling in my sight.
Let’s have our friendship collide!
And have our happy tears turn to confetti on the side.
The confetti in my ears is persistent.
I guess I should have remained distant!
a riot of flakes
conjured by nature's magic...
cars slip-sliding on black ice
winter’s confetti
starts entombing autumn's dead...
colors are shrouded in white
I love confetti
Especially when it’s lit
Fire sparkling up
Flirting with paper beauty
Loving the sight that it brings
Confetti collecting
on strawberry blondes
swigging champagne
from the dusk
till the dawn,
Sleeping in corners
where ever they fall,
like sad
Cinderellas
too long
at the
Ball.
Most beautiful pink
delicate cherry blossom
bouquet of sweet dreams
then slight wind blows and blossom
flutters like pink confetti.
Wednesday
, wet confetti,
undone fantasies,
clowns, bomb shells
Pierrots and Columbine
sadness and ashes
from carnival...!
The confetti is multicolored
Conversation is flowing
Optimism permeates the restaurant
New York’s ball has not yet dropped
We wait in eager anticipation
Strangers who come together once a year
I love chrome bumpers
Sequins on headbands
Rhinestones on sweaters
Colored gemstones that are polished
Confetti, glitter,
Anything ritzy, ditzy or sparky
I love shiny things
Could I be a crow?
