Premium Member Cinderella's Advice
If Cinderella coached the team each fall
She’d tell her players, “Just keep your eye on the ‘ball’.”

In times of discord and debauchery
the need to tell the whole world the truth
yet who knows what is truth today
the powers to be, a mask
that of intolerance
to manipulate
each living day
coached to be
passive
dumb.

Premium Member One of God's Angels
Connie was my friend, and I miss her smile. Like a poem written in her own style, she coached me to go that extra mile and took the time to chat once in a while, one of God's angels; she fit the profile.

The Alabaster Ball
THE ALABASTER BALL

Earth sent invitations
To a danse one night
Requesting all invited
Please – to come in white.

The glass-coached clouds assembled
And the Ebon Sky
Banked its brightest fire,
Snuffed each candled eye.

Then the Winds belled music
Set a whirling pace
And down the Heavens
Waltzed the Snows,
In their finest lace....

Such Sassy Trends
like callous comet
bully cloud belched
punctured pills puked
vying nauseated view
dark dances drool
squashing strained mood

like taunted torrent
rustic rain rent
wanky waves melt

gaunt boulevard growling
tainted trees throwing
hoisted hampered hankering

such sassy trends
coached Dimash's crest.

Premium Member I Like Autumn
Seasonal batons on planet earth are what they are.
Their 'meets' are annually, and they like to compete.

They have lots of freedom, but are well coached.
All four of them are united in their 'events'.

Each one has special roles to meet their goal.
They are from the same stock but each is unique.

She may wet you, wind you, or even hurricane you,
but all things being equal, Autumn is my kind of season.

''Horse Drawn Dreams''
Daddy bought me a filly named ''Champagne Taste''.
Smitten by the thought someday she would race.
Slender,sleek,course mane.
Shaped as elegant as a European statuette.
I trained,coached her every move.
Her strength with age continued to improve.
Thoroughbred beauty,your lifetime of wins.
Memories still remain in our trophy case.
Beloved horse I could never replace.

Colonel House: Administrator (1585-1938)
With Southern charm
He forged the hold
Of foreign gold
On town and farm.

He gave us two
Proud presidents—
No accidents--
Yet hid from view.

I guess he felt
That Wilson could
Be used, as should
Be Roosevelt.

He coached the game
To win us all:
The Federal
Reserve’s its name.

And he’s to thank
For nations leagued
And then intrigued
Behind One Bank.

You ask my source?
Read his own book,
A blood-bathed look
At rule by force....

Premium Member Mutuality In Friendship
Our friend was unflappable,
regardless of what happened.
She handled every trial
smoothly—without weary sighs.

We considered her our guide,
and she coached us through hard times,
like a well-trained therapist,
this unique friend we cherished.

We saw how focused on self
we’d been when SHE asked for help—
advice! Now we’re equal, each
with strength all the others seek.
