Winter-spring canon
Incensed along Jacob's Creek
Like watery angels thought less from clouds above
Canopies of light make soft their entrance
In clucking-pig-progging-and-a-yip-yip-yipping
A shuft-and-shushing of large glass doors
Round about our ways of going
Slipping on the wet pages of our
Winter-spring canon...

Every animal in the lot came by for a hi
They wanted to see Hilda milk her baby Cy
Cy was okay with it, not a bit tit shy
And of course, the kitty was sitting by.

Hello! Said Hilda, welcome one and all.
She got a stool as she sat down in the stall.
The chickens began clucking, the cow gave a moo.
I wish I had been there, bet you do too....

Bucking Did Duck Did Chuck
Bucking Did Duck Did Chuck

Have you ever seen a bucking duck cluck?
Maybe he fell down and did not suck
Into the oats and grain for he could not duck
The bucking, clucking, duck could not fill up on muck
Could he wallop an ugly duck of Chuck’s wallop of pucks?
Of woodchuck, woodchuck then maybe he should pluck, duck.

Fried Chicken
I was talking to my chicken today
She started clucking and this is what she had to say:
"I know times are hard, here's some eggs to sell"
"Maybe this will hold you over until things get well"

I said, "Thank you, I appreciate the gift"
"But I know what will really give me a lift"
"Is some fried chicken and a cup of black coffee"!
"And I really appreciate you talking to me"....

turkeys thoughts about the 25th leary
hurry to the corner
huddle close togther
with minds togther
jerking their brains fiercly
thinking about the fruit and berries
pupils thats already seen the axe
bloodshead
from their closest turkey relitives
and again with brains jerked around to the max
you can hear the cry's of clucking
I think I hear

The Cock of the Town
The Cock Of The Town

Poppy cock! says the clucking cock
to the beat of the clicking clock.

He bobs his head up and down
as the world turns around.

He's looking for another cock to block,
it for the thrill of the fight that he wants to lock.

He struts his stuff like he's the cock of the town
it's true none of his hens have a frown.
Perhaps he is the cock of the town....

Bloody Hell
what if it is cancer
and I fight for my life
what would be the chances
that I would survive

it could be a disease
leaving me deceased
a life with it inside me
managed without cease

what if it's corona
causing symptoms most rare
I'd have to be a loner
oh so no change there

My health has run away
it took my plot as well
and all that I can say
is "oh bloody clucking hell!!!"...
