Fried Chicken

I was talking to my chicken today
She started clucking and this is what she had to say:
"I know times are hard, here's some eggs to sell"
"Maybe this will hold you over until things get well"

I said, "Thank you, I appreciate the gift"
"But I know what will really give me a lift"
"Is some fried chicken and a cup of black coffee"!
"And I really appreciate you talking to me".

Be happy with just a wing, Timothy. A good chicken like that, you don't eat it all at once!

G'day Timothy … the poor old chook must be wondering what it has done. Thanks Timothy - Lindsay
