Her Calming Voice

Her calming voice,
Flowed deep into my perplexed heart
Like a romantic song.
The dimples on her cheeks
Clarified the word of beauty,
The undefined word for so long.

Always Knew In Christ Could Confide

Always Knew In Christ Could Confide

We always knew in Christ could confide;
On Him did depend on and have relied;
Sheaves in bring,
While songs sing,
And read Bible where He was clarified.

Latin Lesson

I’m just a little bit annoyed
At some obscure new word I’ve heard
Called “sternocleidomastoid”—
An obfuscated doctor’s word.

But now I think, I’m maybe learning--
The definition—clarified:
A muscle meant for turning
Your head from side-to-side.

Victory

Vow I take, triumph I foresee
Verbal promise, clear-cut, precise
Volition has my guarantee
Values changed, new contempt for vice
Virtue's purpose is verified
Vision refocused, clarified
Vacillation is absentee

Lucid

LUCID

Liquid lusts to drown…breathe
               Lengthy practicing...calm

       Loving friends listening
Lord…I pray a good show

                    Lucidity of dance
                Larynx clarified…smooth

     Long-suffering reaps fruit

It's Too Early To Write Poetry

A summer evening rarefied
An elder spirit clarified,
Made spare and true, the ingenue
Long bid adieu returned anew
To walk with me and disagree
On wrong and right then reunite
In love's accord our faith restored;
Late magic hour to endow her,
Naught overcomes such sweet power,
Wise crone to some, yet my flower.

Bless the Lord

Before my eyes it appears like infinity;
And the divine consumes my soul.
Blood runs in me like a river;
Gravitating to the ocean of my heart.
Love is clarified clearly as the air,
Spreading my wings as an angel.
I fly high with the peace of clouds;
Listening to the music of the sun’s glory,
As the joy of the universe unfolds
The blessed NAME of the LORD.

Off To Prison

The landscape that is made
by the very tapestry we ourselves weave, abides;
as babes we unknowingly absorb
the sustaining juice from the insipid pulp;
we stretch, imagine, we mingle,
our corpus of thoughts and things,
testify to our being;
we ache for a freedom impossible to explain;
so the end like the beginning,
creates another song,

The Last Exchange

While the sun was slipping away
You left me
With a gifted moment

A moment that lessened fears
Yet hastened tears
A moment that spoke to me
Yet set you free
A moment that caressed my heart
Yet put apart
A moment that fostered giving
Yet nurtured living
A moment that clarified a decision
Yet cleared my vision

While the sun was slipping away
You left me
With a gifted moment

Thou Shall Be Done

Its a miracle
That I am still breathing
Fill my heart with the holy spirit
As I lead those I love unconditionally
Leaving sadness and cruelty

Its a fulfilment
That I am able to endure
Fill my heart with joy
As I formulate the dream
Leaving haters behind

Its a blessing
That I am honoured
Fill my heart with appreciation
As I proceed to the promise land
May, the purpose be clarified

A440

I may have always loved you
And with you been in tune
I didn't always know you
But once I did it soon
Became fairly apparent
That something else was there
Several commonalities
Were breathing the same air

We blended well together
The more we did consort
Then symbiosis clarified,
You lead and I support
And that is how I like it
Just give me things to do
And together we'll accomplish
All that you want to

Life Lived By Trump

Life Lived by Trump

Trump sure was a joke;
About him wrote this anecdote;
In mother did croak.

On one early morn
Trump we heard had been still born
When from womb was torn.

Further clarified,
They determined he had died;
Body had to hide.

Came alive again;
New President he has been;
Brainwashed also then.

Was born deep in sin;
Became a Republican;
All he does offend.

How clever of a stupid story
can this one possibly be?

A Sharp Turn of View

A Sharp Turn Of View

A falling leaf
 Cutting down no vital of the ground,
 But carried away the sigh of season's song.

 A touching lyric
 Shooting off no trouble of the world,
 But clarified our mind without any moan.

 Since there is no paradise and a severe life,
 Neither could you utter a biased cry;
 Oh the dancing of the snowflakes is never worth the first rose's smile

 And, that is the way I live poetically
 Both in a classical and modern style

A Not Called Feeling

This feeling still can’t leave my mind.
It’s disobedient.
It should have a name of some kind –
Please, try to be patient!

I can’t find any proper name -
It’s unpredictable.
No other feeling is the same -
It’s so valuable...

I’m wasting my time to name it.
I give up. It’s your turn!
You know the feeling very well...
Go on! The die is thrown!

But I see you go pale, my love.
Why are you terrified?
You evade it. I’ve had enough!
It must be clarified...

Ambiguous

My dress is either black or brown;
I really am not sure.
It’s covered, too, in polka dots,
A part of its allure.

When choosing shoes and jewelry
To match, I go with brown,
A choice I reaffirm in mirrors
Or when looking down.

Yet once I noticed someone else
Who wore the dress as well.
Her shoes were black and yes, it matched,
As far as I could tell.

I’ve had this problem just this once
But what it’s clarified
Is next time I won’t buy a dress
Ambiguously dyed.

Fragility of Love

The fragility of love

Only angels and butterflies should write love poems.
When elephants, giraffes and gruff sailors try to,
they sink into the mire of unfinished thoughts not
clarified, hazy sentimental longings and clumsy
footwork. The ungainly trying to dance to a tune of
love that confuses them, leaving behind deep wounds
in the delicate soil of adoration that will never heal.
Or worst of all, the ultimate shame, to have ones
declaration of love turned into a folklore joke.
