Let it be a free chirping sparrow,
Howsoever pretty parrot may sing,
Afterall it is without a wing.

The sun is setting
Upon this new spring evening.
Winds are whispering
Lovely birds are all chirping,
As the trees are all blossoming.
The birds are chirping;
The bees are buzzing.
The flowers are grown.
The sun is shining;
Veggies are growing.
Fresh green everywhere.
Our sweet connection to
sunlit forsythias,
leaping squirrels, and
chirping chickadees—
deeper than a lifespan,
closer than a heartbeat.
