Jesus Plastique
Does the Holy Ghost
exist
in the walls
of blinking light chapels?
Or in some type
of bobbing
side-to-side
dashboard symbolism?...

The Written Page
I have written myself into a web of madness;
where hideous creatures troll the dark streets,
where angel wings fan the souls of the newborn,
where pirates sail on traitorous seas,
and young maidens seek safety in the chapels of God.
Adventure, fantasy, faith all tumble upon the written page....

~The Chapels bells are ringing
Best man’s hands holds Wedding rings
   While the groom nervously squirms
   Bride walks in love’s march
               ~
~Anticipation awaits
Faithful seal of love in spite
   Passions need a Saint’s patience
   Not Consummation

Sin City
Neon lights,
Dancing fountains,
Sun rising,
Over the mountains.
Roulette tables,
Blackjack and poker,
Winning is fun,
Losing’s a choker.
Showgirls in feathers,
Elvis dressed in white,
Volcanic water show,
A splendid sight.
Hotels, casinos,
Shopping and more,
Wedding chapels,
Shows galore.
Fun filled days,
Joyful nights,
This is Las Vegas,
With its glorious sights....

Ruffled Feathers
Crimson coats
Truth laces on the sleeves

Layered pinks
Weary wants within

A chink in the sky
Chapels clarify

Words that smelled green
Promises pristine

Doting on the dark dew
 Musk settles anew

Unruled pages
Ruled roads
Caveats mistaken
Heart carrying the heaviest load.

The path forsaken
The path forgiven

Some of us aren’t meant to be tamed
Come, this is the way....

Wales
Welcome - Croeso is what my people say
As they greet you to the beautiful sites to peruse each day
Literally a dozen or more castles, hills rolling to the sea
Everything shouts welcome, stay awhile with me
Singing in the valleys, small chapels, with sheep roaming free

Ddraig goch is the red dragon on the flag of Wales
Bringing warmth to your soul along with the smiles

Penned 2 April 2014...

It's All God's Fault
Mother's cry
Children sigh
Refugees
Soldiers bleed.

Stomachs empty
Jobless plenty
Crime so high
People's lies.

Life is tough
Not enough
Look for more
Nothing in store.

Corrupt regimes
Sponge the cream
Death abounds
Sickness hounds.

Earthquakes rattle
Empty chapels
Fires and floods
Gangs with thugs.

There is no devil,
There is no evil
There is no sin nature, therefore
It's all God's fault.

Blame Him....
