Wales

Welcome - Croeso is what my people say As they greet you to the beautiful sites to peruse each day Literally a dozen or more castles, hills rolling to the sea Everything shouts welcome, stay awhile with me Singing in the valleys, small chapels, with sheep roaming free Ddraig goch is the red dragon on the flag of Wales Bringing warmth to your soul along with the smiles Penned 2 April 2014

Dear Seren, your description of Wales excites me as I am hoping to visit there the fall and didn't know it had castles and sheep roaming in the valleys. I will send you a soup mail as you requested. Peace and blessings, Carolyn

Wow, what a welcoming country! I would love to visit Wales someday! I have to ask, what is the DB after WALES in your acrostic? I hope it isn't obvious and I'm just missing it! I would love to see all the castles, valleys, chapels, and all the beautiful sites there! I don't believe I've seen the flag of Wales! I'll have to look it up! This is a spectacular write my friend! I surely loved reading this glorious poem here this morning! What a remarkable piece, Great Work!!

Oh what a lovely acrostic - we used to visit friends in Wales on quite a regular basis when we lived in Birmingham - my one resounding memory - it always seemed to rain lol. lovely area and lovely people. Jan xx

Thanks Jan, Lol I know that's what people say but honestly we have our percentage of sunny days. Will have to look up the average for Wales as per each area.. Glad you loved my country, ...Seren
