sets waves of tense limbs free –

can’t play musical chairs nor switch tables —
the black light will seek you out

I ran downstairs
to play musical chairs -
how I do recall!
I kept repeating
changing seating
'til there were none at all.
norman rockers
no feet wasted
hai chairs with short arcs

H/T to Milt Hankins' Crockers
Glaring white lake stretches up to bushes’ shades.
Adirondack chairs and canoes align in grace.

Brush strokes take this paint,
I see our musical chairs;
Style flows like water;
Smelling the smoke and the wine,
You are indefinite art.
A phone is missing
We find all kinds of wrappers
Under dirty chairs
A phone is missing
How did we get so many junk drawers?
We better stop looking
darkening meadows
conjure parallel stages-
lawn chairs on damp grass
fireflies skittishly eyeing
the flitting lights of smart phones

Dangling thoughts
Of your brilliance
Dream about the days of destiny.
The wondrous slots
Of due diligence
Fill their chairs with the pace of scrutiny.
Comfortably I'd sit here and settle
unaware my office chairs a rebel
like quicksand
I'd need a hand
as my chair would sink to a new level.

Lawn chairs arranged in circle.
Wood piled to build the perfect campfire.
Friends gather for lasting memories.

A step back in time
when verandas had rocking chairs
purposely placed in the sunlight;
waiting for Grandma to sit,
and rock until darkness descended.
(#1)
crows, crows everywhere under the wooden stairs. Broken chairs in the sky a flying soar high bear my mother's fruit for she sees a nail in all our hearts and souls.
Nothing
You're Chairs, Empty
Empty room
I have tears on my cheeks
My heart stood
My dream is dead
My life is cold
Wishes me dead.
Apples are laughing
I'm alive
Dead
Form:
Song
I sing
for these empty chairs
as well as the sea.
The sea hears me
it translates my song
into a language.
A language
that every fish in the sea
Sitting alone, empty chairs, hollow feeling
She's looking sad, devoid of something
'Till someone giving her bouquet of flower
Sudden change of atmosphere in the air.

your words bear lives
chairs around my bed are filling

Spring Garden
Garden in full bloom
with moving perfume,
butterfly wings spoom.
Nestling outdoor chairs
old and gracious airs,
spring morning prepares.

Was fashionably late
In the parlor were chairs to recline
Each year she got greater
So of course she got later
And now all her “good friends” decline
as the soft wind blows
outside on the deck chairs rock...
their presence is felt

Love Those Who Abound
We always love those who abound;
All over each place as well as around;
Up the stairs;
Sitting in chairs;
Not seeing them caused me to frown.

Come to my garden ~
Let us have some tea,
Let's enjoy ourselves
Under the lush tree,
I've set out the chairs ~
For just you and me.

In the club, everything is the same:
Lounge, tables, chairs,
music playing..
Only people weren't
the same... They went to
to the salon, longing...!
Empty chairs sit
Waiting silently alone
Shared warmth eludes them.
