Bobby’s sweetheart loves red lingerie,
which he’ll give her on Valentine’s Day.
He went shopping for two.
Will she bid him adieu when he dons his cerise negligee?
A
blood red
drop
flows like
a liquid
ruby
down
the sides
of a wax
cerise candle
as its wick
burns with
flames
flaunting
magenta
scarlet
and
crimson
hues.
Cerise clouds
picot
the mallows
edging
a wafer
of earth.
Distant mallards
volute the evening,
wainscot
the vault
of season--
a lattice
of lavalieres
mulling a sky
blanched as gin.
Scarlet-orange sun rose brightly,
As the cerise stars shine nightly.
Honey sunshine caressed flowers-
A gold thrall twixt silver showers;
And ruffled, plum breeze came lightly.
Dare I hold thy hand gently within mine
And speak this day of my love great for you
Can heaven high above withhold dawn’s sign
Of light repelling night’s dark grasp anew
Or wanting sweet lips most cerise as thine.

tangerine,
and cerise leaves
falling from the trees:
spiral down to the ground.
Carried by brisk breezes:
color inks the wind;
as Autumn-gusts,
swirl, like the
breath of
Fall.
Autumn
colors the leaves;
as Nature's brush dapples
inks of cerise, yellow, and gold
on a canvas of green with orange tints;
adorning the tops of the trees.
No season besides Spring,
can compete with
Autumn.
dawn’s
cheery
red cherries
by the bagful
cheek by jowl they munch
dangling the stem, spitting
out crunchy seeds (tooth breakers)
channelling the healing power
chalking up juicy rufescent bites
at dusk, couple’s cheering cerise cabernet
Will you soon speak to me of thy love, Joan
Tell me that you want me as I want you
Can I endure a callous bile adieu
from thy lips most cerise, soft, tender, sweet,
from those which solely I have ever known.

Spring Explosion
A razzle dazzle of cerise surges
Bounding carmine flares
Sparks of chartreuse sizzle
Sapphire spangles ignite
Lavender fire combusts
Vernal mischief! Spring explodes!
Colors Nature provides for Autumn's brush,
Orange, amber, cinnamon, and cerise
Layer green canopies with gild and blush,
Orchestrating Her greatest masterpiece
Recycling leaves into a golden fleece,
She paves the way south for migrating geese.
Swells of nitrous climbing walls, cirrus pennants slowly flag..
Cerise in the lining, richly glowing halls are leading
Onto stairs with eternally deep & steep stooping falls
magenta hued cotton surround me in fields on every side
I'm Floridian dreaming, under bearded trees with the river nearby.
I watched the gloaming break in silent peace
Dark purple change to pink before my eyes
The bottoms of the clouds turned bright cerise
Which bled into the lake before sunrise
Then suddenly all wrapped in golden fleece
The morning sun joined in his masterpiece

In twilight hours I find my peace.
Day’s obligations have been met.
It’s time to find my soul’s release
while over hills sun starts to set.
Life’s trials will go on, and yet
with meditation, worries cease.
The balm of calm I wish to get
while seeing heaven turn cerise.
