grey doves coo with dawn
 songs serenade the sunrise ~
  wings clap canticles

Not only do doves coo, they sing "songs."  Sometimes they clap their wings in flight.

Morning bursts softly, gleams the ray
Buds exploding…new sun's display
     As clouds peep

Wheatgrass rustles across fields, lush
Alive with canticles of a thrush
     For yield's heap

And footsteps glide to meet each oak
Dressed by resplendency, its cloak

Roar of the wind racing in a seeming halt.
A sudden rainstorm it is.
A salutation farewell to a mournful of two hearts,
Which formerly fused with love and cherish.

All the trees shed their leaves.
As they feel canticles of the broken hearted.
Sing delighted now is the devil,
For he sees another soul to seduced.

Shortly afterward in time to come,
There were a lover lying lifeless.
Covered with the golden leaves of ferns.
An evening, with poems and songs and death....

Stiff pleated fronds in concert rise
to wax under the April sun 
and trill their canticles begun
in verses jade that they comprise.

Chartreuse of thorny branches splay
a tumult to belie the grace
that on display they interlace
like rose stems on a breezeless day.

Atop the thatched denuded bole
gush fountains cast in cardamom,
an opalescent diadem
that glistens on the mossy knoll.

In thus exuberant array 
do cloistered peacocks mime ballet.
