The most precious of words are these three
When emotions demand honesty
Not said to control
Not meant to cajole
At least not when spoken to thee
Singer crafted a special needle
So rich men could cajole and wheedle
Its like playing Bingo
With John, Paul & Ringo
So they can thread another Beatle
The mind is the ghost of our being,
its voice left to haunt and cajole
(Villanova Pennsylvania: November, 2017)

Can you imagine being eighty-one years old
When I was a young'un, thought my body would be cold
Resting in peace
Breathing ceased
Anxiously awaiting for St. Peter to cajole
When lilacs with the springtime rise
and weary hordes no longer slumber,
music from God's own guitar now flies
to cajole the misty earthen number;
begin etching the kaleidoscope of summer.
To make someone giggle is my life's goal
What better way than to cajole someone's thoal
What in hell is a thoal
It's under a ladies camisole
Us guys drool at the thought of losing control
their selfish stance, meets no response
since we no longer wish to dance
ceasing to reform or cajole
relinquishing wearisome roles
blissful soul, choosing to renounce

What is this thing that overtakes our soul
They call it love, a very strange casserole
Ingredients are passion
Mixed with phantasm
Known to us all as through life we cajole

Stones are such strange things
they will not a prison make,
yet are dead,blind or cold
and build a henge of old
When kissed,gift to cajole,
left unturned,their treasures bide,
cast first,they take a lead
and never ever bleed
Tease, tempt, coax and cajole till purchased
And wrench the hearts of young and old
Blaze seated on rings and chains
As though culled from hot sun
In Shades bright or light
Red, blue, green, pink
Topaz stones
Glint like
Stars
sometimes when I'm wiggling
I get carried away and lose my self-control
start giggling
it is my style
to bring laughter as I cajole
a smile
there's worth
found in a soul
mirth
sometimes when I'm wiggling
to bring laughter as I cajole
mirth
Infiltrated each other’s soul,
now we are a complete image;
Neither of us given control,
conduits for this right of passage;
Restless responds to a cajole,
yes we are mosaic pieces;
The vision makes sense as a whole,
seamlessly blended soft creases.
my dear, let's stroll
barefoot ...we laugh 'midst jeweled night
my dear, let's stroll...
old stars envious. they cajole--
Maytime taps our feet, to delight
tender the waves, nuptials in sight
my dear, let's stroll...
First Place
When city lights fade, red to kohl
Sullen this dusk rising to cajole,
Pain beckons its shades
As flickering dreams sail on flights;
To unearth memoirs that recite
Wails stabbed like a blade.

The Blues- in tail rhyme<
the soul to be cajole
the secret of succor a candy
every day you can share with the world
sweet to be on earth
the night an embrace
of dreams keeping the dark at bay
the moon a liar with its crescents not telling
the bloom of full or soon the absence
learning the alphabet
the C the D
she tells the true.
Crawl,walk,run,leap
Wake,work,eat,sleep
Yell,scream,laugh,cry
Speak,listen,smile,sigh
Renounce,relinquish,defy,resist
Succumb,surrender,continue persist
Think,ponder,question,believe
Sing,dance,revel,relieve
Fall,stagger,stumble,slip
wane,waver,falter,trip
coax,cajole,crash,burn
Withdraw,retreat,live n' learn
"Blow on the dice and let them roll,"
says those who trust their lives to chance.
Allow cruel fate to take control.
"Blow on the dice and let them roll,"
The words of destiny cajole.
Kismet gambles on circumstance.
"Blow on the dice and let them roll,"
says those who trust their lives to chance.

O sweetly sings the nightingale,
In words of poetic allure
That echo through the night’s dark veil
And yet so softly reassure.
Across the years he touched my soul
With philosophies making love;
And even now his words cajole
My pen from where he dwells above.
The poet dear, that sings to me,
In words that set my own voice free.
Today has 24 hours to live.
Be at its deathbed, son,
keep a vigil, make sure you're
included in its will.
Of the priceless heirlooms,
have your fill.
Sieze its shoulders,
shake it out of its last slumber
if you must.
Cajole, wheedle and fawn,
get all that you most dearly want.
Trust not in the largesse of
an inglorious dawn.
Connie's capricious thoughts crystallize,
she composed them to console and cajole.
Her deepest dreams she can realize
as release valve for her sensitive soul,
rich rays of light her readers recognize.

I am tired
I sit my weary bones down
on an old rocker
and listen to grandad play guitar
his music magic to my ears
wanting to send me into a slumber,
but yet I am fascinated
by the winds cajole to the lilacs
with a sigh my eyes become misty
I fall asleep
with lilacs etching
they're swaying bodies in my mind
as they dance to grandad's song
self professed failure
self confessed bailer
left when things got hard
disappeared
bad guy he told many
self confidence?
I don’t have any
Walking apology
Was this guy
When he arrived the women sigh
They want to save him
Rescue, turn him into
Someone rather fine.
They whine, cajole, lament and moan.
Trying to save this bad boy
Every time.
Can campy cavorting canines cajole curious cats?
Bickering birdbrains boast between bogeyman’s bats….
Honorably heavenly heifers heighten historical hats,
Manageable Mandarin manatees make moody Michigan maps.
Neutralizing Nebraskans needing normal noontime naps.
Flamboyantly flipping fleshy flannel flea-flipping flatfish flaps.
Can campy cavorting canines cajole curious cats?
Young girls, beware of purple flowers, once white.
Unbeknownst to you, nefarious knight
may draw flower's nectar, dab your sleeping eyes,
and as new day dawns, cajole you with lies.

my body grows lilacs
they swell in my ears
almost like beeswax
dispelling sounds,
cries of help
the sweet purple runs through me
reminders of cajole come to distract
the misty perfume
brings weary sighs
i must sleep
while awake, my head is etching for freedom
slumber brings opportunity
the real world lies there
like a guitar singing
fragmented moments are pieced together
