I Love You

The most precious of words are these three When emotions demand honesty Not said to control Not meant to cajole At least not when spoken to thee

Sweet, Joe! Sincerity is surely one of your greatest attributes. Three of the "most precious of words" that shouldn't be thrown about carelessly. A beautiful write, Joe! You make me smile...feels like the sky is clearing. Best to you and yours, love, Mikki

Those three words are the ones we ladies long most to hear, especially when they come from the heart of a sincere man, Joe. The saddest words to hear are, "I don't love you anymore." They can make you shut down. Still recovering from that jolt and it's been a while, but when I read poems like this, I know there are men who mean what they say. Thank you! Love, Carolyn
