We will remember
November Fifth
Bonfire night
Each year
Bang!
Popping and crackling
Red hot oranges with yellows
Snapping at hot dogs
One falls off of Johnny’s stick
Mama pushes new one on
bonfire magic
red firefly lightning bits
mesmerized by night
flaming sparkling hot
bright red-orange turning to gray
bonfire magic
Cozy October bonfire;
You can taste a lick of a chill
tickling your nerves as you inhale
the smoky stench of terror’s scream in the air.
my stepdaughter sings
embers of bonfire smolder
evening gathering
A responsible person would stay until the end of the bonfire.
I go inside and take a nap.
Knowing who is in charge.
Faith trumps responsible every time.
Flames
shimmer
like old times --
friends' raucous tales

Philippine folklore amuses me
A shapeshifting ghost, an aswang you be
A fierce ghoul, not unlike a white vampire
Terrific tale to tell beside a new bonfire
'A Guide to a Bonfire Win'
Good food and good cheer with your kin.
Some beer and grilled meat,
a special sweet treat,
and wash it all down with some gin!
Bright bonfire-coloured leaves all aglow,
around the corner Autumn begins its call
with an Acer Palmantum vivid show
Nature's curtain lifts only then to Fall
BONFIRE
lights a match lets it burn his fingers
trees tremble as the flames branch out igniting twilight

She must of been,
a bonfire,
The way the drifters,
Drifted,
To her love,
And the warm dress,
Of her ethereal,
embers,
Upon,
The golden shore

Tumultuous wild feelings
Exploding in a hot bonfire
Eerily crazily out of control
Skeletons have a bonfire of fun.
Hey! We should get girlfriends said everyone.
The bonfire laughed.
You all have gone daft.
Soon as they see you, these humans will run!
There once was a Fawkes name of Guy
Whose dastardly plans went awry
Now in November
We still remember

Flame swirls in bonfire
Feet waltz flies ash near and far
Strange shapes of shadows appear.
The bodies lose light
Fire gets lost within bright
Silhouettes dance in delight.
golden dragon shapeshifter
she sparkled, popped and snapped like a bonfire
not unlike a dragon
she was confident and fierce
serious in her intent to show us her mystical power
turbulence and flurry arrived in heat of the afternoon
sky turned bonfire berserk in reds, oranges and yellows
a frenzied vortex disturbed every fiber of our being
end of days?
Bizarre Blighty bonfire at the Gabbatoir
Starc like Slash just thrashes his guitar
The south paw so far the star and Tsar
Our bete noir ..to the Ashes lark au revoir
Nights end,
Fireworks all spent
Bonfire dies down
Embers glowing softly
As fond thoughts of the evening
Warm the heart

verses...
In this cruel world full of insanity,
fueled by selfishness and greed,
you could lose your life
if you want more than you need
by burning in a bonfire
of your vanity.
partying
back in the day
meant graduation, birthday, wedding
or Tupperware
today
I think partying means drinking
a bonfire
it seems to be more common now
no more Tupperware parties though
