Blip

Drink away the blues of blues...
that have been spattered over the canvas every single way.
Today come rain, come art, come relations, come friends,
come everything.

Premium Member leave your phone at home

When people come for a visit
I wish they would leave their phones at home
There is not much visiting
When people keep their phones on
And look at every beep and blip

Blip Carter

In the good old days,
Backyard loos were the way,
The old blip carter appears,
From a dim and distant year,
Had the blip can on his back,
Strode off down nostalgia's track!

Blip

This is a short poem.
Not a long one like the rest.
(not haiku)
This is about time,
and saying a lot in a small space.
Updates to follow.
Be quiet... (calm)

Dust Bites Another One

The distance between the stars
is stone deaf.
Diamonds die last, stones are blind
but all knowing.
Man is a blip on a self-made monitor.

Sound bites are a poets
last resort.

Wake Up Negative

Wake up negative!
Listen to that geriatric!
Wakes up so negative!
Ever tried being positive?
Go on, wake up negative!
Listen to that geriatric's
blackmail and blip,
Go on, wake up negative!

Premium Member But a Speck

I am but a speck
Insignificant
Not even a blip
On a radar screen.
Overwhelmed sometimes.
Spirit and flesh
Dust and water.
Invisible
Often ignored
Or unseen
Unnoticed
A fairly
Unknown
Tiny
Speck

Molten

Yes, we are older ladies.
All with molten hips and knees,
Agnostic or Catholic fantasies?
Nothing like a good chick lit.
Who on earth wrote this blip?
Love is pulsating away,
I'll enjoy this book today!

Growing Old

It's not so bad, I say,
Part of our ride today,
Health and mobility our stage,
To this golden age,
Wake up to say,
"Let's get positive, yah!"
Old power chaps and miss
You have so got this,
No need, negative blip,
Ageing process is our trip!

There Is Still

There is still anxiety…

But it no longer encompasses.

It is now like a blip or a beep.

It no longer rings at my door.

It is like a lighthouse in the distance that warns.

But there is plenty of time to reach land and escape any storm.

Premium Member Shiny Skin

Do you believe it, the predicted high tomorrow is 90 This is Canada, the frozen north, not taking this too kindly Moderation is our norm This blip will transform This country into a sweatbox and our skin will get shiny © Jack Ellison 2015

Starkest of Thoughts

I see some strange sights,
a world within the chasm-
slowly filling up,
flooding the fields of imagination.

There is a desert left,
a blip here and there-
finally joined the herd.

So this is what its like-
seeing the allurement,
yet doing nothing more.

Death By Daoism

Eeyore the Dr. Ignorant,
Winnie the Pooh, ambulant,
On a walk in the woods,
Are they up to no good?
Winnie does say,
In his happiest way,
"Buzz, buzz, buzz,
I wonder where the birdies was?
Whoops, in my eye, birdie's blip!
I guess that's what you call a gift!"

Toxic Time Bombs

"What are toxic time bombs?"
I wonder, with no aplomb,
Old garbage and refuse tips,
Legacy landfills, full of blip,
Damaging environmentally,
So much for sustainability,
All the overflow of society,
How do we correct such wrongs?
All those toxic time bombs........

Agape Love, Loss, But Just a Blip On Eternity, Says Joe

Thanks to Father DeMino fir reminding me the world cannot bite off all our Jesus-kinda-Love. So here goes-

"If you love sacrificially, you won't expect thanks and only lose a blip of Eternity." Deo

Joe DeMino did add, "ouch for that blip" that got gobbled up mercilessly

What Is Really Meant

What does a woman really mean?
When she talks to men on her scene,
"Don't worry about it!" she means,
"You're in deep blip!" She's mean,
"Do I look fat?" Don't answer, men,
Or you'll end up in the canine pen,
"What I really meant to say......"
Chicks' hidden talk this way!

To Leave Behind

What a good question is this,
I read it on Facebook's blip,
What, Willie Nelson does ask.
Are teen leaving us? The task!
Old Willie and Keith Richards, lo!
They really need to know,
Pickled on booze, sex and drugs,
No healthy vegie juice to chug,
Aging is a blast, free hugs!

Pandemic Love

This is sage advice,
At gigolos don't look twice,
It's a pandemic world,
Solo orgasms, guys and girls,
All around the world,
Blip yourselves, dudes and girls,
Then on with the happy pants,
Back to work online, us ants!
How do I know all this?
Google's life coaching is the blip!
