Sandcastle
Here,
There's no one else but me
to build a sandcastle.

I'm bewildered
by the vastness of imaginary sands
and oceans in a country only existing
within the boundaries of my mind

I lay my hands bare at this island.

Freedom of Choice
Multiple choices
Bewilder the mind
Making an answer
A challenge to find

Who, what, when, where, why
And how qualify
too many choices
That don't meet one's eye

Everyone can choose
Between "this" or "that"
So keep "that" in mind
When ever you chat!...

this vortex….this vortex
that is life
lies
shades the corners
to tantalize
its fallacious goal
to eviscerate
the curious
bewilder
the peace
of sunrise
plunge its scarlet
tinged beak
into the heart
of daybreak

Writer-Lover
If words inscribed by me can make him agonize,
I'll let him feel.
For I can't hurt him the way he does.
If he refuses to confine by my love,
I will not try to bewilder him by my mortal beauty,
rather let him be confined by my verse.
If still, he doesn't reciprocate,
then he is not the connoisseur
I have sought to converse....

Premium Member Calamari In the Mist
Listen to poem:
Curious to test the fallacious claim
that you could eviscerate calamari squid
in the vortex of a blender,
the amateur chef took the plunge
to bewilder and tantalize friends.
He added a whole squid to the bowl of a blender
and selected the lowest speed.
It looked good a first,
but then the mix blushed scarlet -
Calamari in the Mist....

Ghoulish Moon
Ghoulish moon

Veiled behind clouds of dark night,
struggling to catch up with the breeze,
Ghoulish moon draped in serene white,
rolled fast to bewilder with its dazzle !

Wild Child
I wrote a poem about a picture of you and I.
That Burgundy blind smile.
That picture so bright full of teeth I go weak
Lack in speech and bewilder the wild child
The tamed your spirit liquid gone mild find.
Crimson still dotted with transparent hue
They always worry about me as I worry for you
But I tell them, she is her own celestial moon
Her own brave mind and her own song in tunes...

Timeless Being inside of a forest Trees, they’re all around My house is within The confines that bewilder The hide-away Timeless The trees worship The house that they surround Open to life’s air My house sits high Above the caressing fields Timeless The trees evolve Like the highest object Within the forest The trees hide My humble building One that finds the trees Timeless

Secret
My nightly endeavors of fantasy would bewilder you.
Ignorance of my entertainment ... You wouldn't a clue.
It's the best bliss I've ever encountered; an experience so wonderfully new.
Hours of hours of blissful trips, time disappearing ....
Pleasure, pleasure in my spiritual clearing.
It's a revolving circle, better than anyone's mediocre endeavors.
My bliss, my heaven, my love for myself, my ultimate secret....

The Strange and Difficult Question
Stop stop you bewilder me
I don't know what to say
There is some answer to you
Please don't speak now
Let me think
Or, rather let me try not to think
Words! Mere words
How terrible they are
How clear, and vivid, and cruel!
I cannot escape from them.
And yet what a subtle magic there is in them
Words have a music of their own
As sweet as that of violin or harp
Mere words!
Is there anything as real as words?...

Premium Member How Could You
When you eviscerate me from your life
I plunge into a vortex of emotional strife

Not only are you cold and fallacious
Your offensiveness is also mendacious

Is it not enough for you to victimize
that you have to constantly criticize

Tell me who do you think you are
Your actions are crazy and bazaar

You are so angry that you see scarlet red
I no longer hurt - you bewilder me instead

Sacred Domicle
What right have I to write?
What sanctuary allows me entrance
into its sacred domicile?

Who really scribes for me?
Is it the stars or the trees?
The streams or the seas?

I bow in humble servitude
to my muse as she shares her
adoration of nature
and expedient expression
of all things exquisite

Tears, joy, revelations
and exaltations she sends
to touch, rock and bewilder
readers

My gift; my muse
I introduce to you...

Silence
silence the mother of knowledge,
come and possess my tongue,
For the things I see,
Bewilder me with heartache,
silence the father of healing,
come and heal this broken heart,
silence my gold,
Enrich me with knowledge,
Knowledge to know the present and the past,
Silence the pilot of faith,
Let me see the reality,
conceal the hearts of the one I love,
In silence I doubt their love,
In silence they tear y heart so bad,
Silence will you rescue me?...

Avatar
Why make up an identity
Even unknown to oneself
Tainted vague personality
Much to bewilder myself

You think you know me well
Still you can’t even tell
Can’t read between the lines
Of what’s hidden with all the lies

Been pressured hard enough
To say I must give up
Living up with expectation
That’s only filled with pretension

Been so much confused
Wish we could just refuse
To be somebody else
Before we lose ourselves

The Dark Gives You Sight
Darkness triggers the mind to see,
if we have that kind of trigger.

The light can blind.
Respect the depth
of the unlit.

Fast-food drive-thru's
after 3 AM in the morning
at midday driving into the sun...
sun and neon
can bewilder shallow eyes.

How deep is the dark?
The more we fear to enter
the deeper it gets -

that kind of darkness
is within,
if we are aware
of that kind of within-ness.

We're deeper than we know
or yet more shallow....

October 2020
An exquisite month and season
our eyes strain to thin
though heartache this has been
nobody understands the reason

as the leaves are falling softly
upon the beckoned ground
they're teardrops to the sound
all peaked cold and frosty

edgy for those of any ill
and all who fear the elevator
without viable ventilator
hope hides the perennial

fantasy doth bewilder
the rise of zest captivate
though bewildered on this date
together we sing for the gilder...
