Why make up an identity Even unknown to oneself Tainted vague personality Much to bewilder myself You think you know me well Still you can’t even tell Can’t read between the lines Of what’s hidden with all the lies Been pressured hard enough To say I must give up Living up with expectation That’s only filled with pretension Been so much confused Wish we could just refuse To be somebody else Before we lose ourselves -Written in 2009
