Ben was a sorrowful sight
He hadn't slept a wink all night
He had a bad dream
Heard someone scream
And nearly died of fright
Old Ben Franklin
the printing business he was in
I wish he was alive so that he
could print his picture on more hundreds for me
Ben and Jerry each one of both of them is dumper than the other
Ben and Jerry dump and dumper one of them call the other a sir
Wondrous danger
What you gonna do?
Livre
Read you idiot
Spell father correctly
What else is there
While I listen –
You attack
Penelope could touch her toes
And quickly would assume that pose
But everyone knows
It isn't her toes
That beckons to so many beaux!
I courted a British lady
Whose name was Sadie O'Grady
She took off her drawers
I exclaimed ‘Oh good lord!’
You sure ain’t no LADY, matey!
A chat show presenter from Preston
Had a peculiar guest on
He came on a cart
With a shield o'er his heart
And said that his name's Charlton Heston
thinking by this fountain
I been on the mountain

Ben is a Captain
Earnestly sails mighty ships
Nose bleeds and throwing up, why!! He’s always seasick

Bordeaux Ben just loved red wine,
Would only drink when dining fine,
Didn't drink beer, wouldn't drink gin,
Mum said, alchohol at home was a sin,
So he ate at restaurants all the time.
He was hung like Big Ben’s bell
From his walk, it was evident, you could tell
They would clang a chime
As he sang out a rhyme
The weight threw him off a bridge and was killed with a yell
There was a young poet named Ben
Whose poetry never did win,
Then his talent, I’m told,
Began to take hold,
Now Ben’s awards never end.

there was a young banty rooster named Ben
who liked to hit on all of the old hens
one sad summer day it was said
an axe was taken to his head
now all the old hens are safe in their pen
The time has come for all good men
To come your senses and leave the den
Start acting like the ladies
Do stuff a little shady
Like over-stuffed bras to attract our “Big Ben”
prince Judah Ben-Hur

prince of downtrodden
the carpenter saved your life
when you were thirsty
faraway consul
made your life a living hell
but you saved his life
the chariot race
you beat your adversary
you could not save him
We know that the English are rightly vexed
Queen Mary we bought; London Bridge annexed
Big Ben's up for bidding
So's the Thames, we aren't kidding
Then London and Leeds and Stonehenge are next

There was a young man who knew when
yet likes the sound of the name Big Ben
with a certain ring to it which appeals
as a bell it will sell well he feels
and the knell wake the dead once again
My friend Ben found a new position
He's whooping it up -- no inhibitions
I whispered, 'Not so fast'
'You think this one will last'
One year, twelve jobs ~ Ben's a real magician
Witty Founding Father Ben Franklin
Gave his contemporaries many a grin.
Although he wanted the turkey to be our national bird,
Fortunately John Adam’s “eagle” had the final word.

Here lie the remains of Judge Ben McWhorter
He held court in Bourbon Street’s Latin Quarter
When his wife discovered his debauched ways,
She took appropriate steps to end to his days.

The tower’s high with striking chime
its clangor resonates.
With face of time now widely seen
clock’s scene thus viewed dictates.
Its dial white looks free of grime
new cleaning time awaits .
Loud presence yea with polished sheen
our day it regulates
Little Benny Ben told Roald Amundsen
Let's go to South Pole with my pretty hen
The hen was very stocky
Came to Ben with gait low-key
Asked for a diary and a gel pen
The temperate dead escape their wait
God, make better dreams of their last
Sleeping men have no past
But us
Our play, our anger
In a fantasy agreed
Unspoilt and kind
A happy journey, a martyr of my happiness,
Forever the longest summers
Fields keep their prints
Your nest too high for cloud
