Bear
Baby bear, baby bear,
He has soft and silky fur.
His best friend is a little hare,
They go together everywhere.
scurrying on leaf

giant claws tear through the tent
camper sleeps through the slicing
slivers of sunlight wake her
no one hears her screams
This Cute Teddy Bear
With his blue satin ribbon
My valentine gift
He's cuddly and very soft
Bringing hugs from me to you
Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant
Football giant.
The lovable grizzly bear
Used a stadium for his lair.

If I ever have to meet a bear
While through the woods I am creeping
I hope I find him in his cave
In winter while he's sleeping
Form:
I gave my son a small pooh bear,
He got frightened oh my dear.
Now he is lying in the corner,
my kid put a blanket to keep him warmer
They are very cute
they look like old men with beards
found in Sri Lanka.

The friend I tell my dreams;
Where garden waits for touch;
Protection from Life’s storms;

Forever feeding upon them~

so predictable
yet different strategies
to survive the wild
guide me through .. keeper of dreams
rise now .. spirit of the bear
Bear meat cooked real slow
smothered in a mushroom sauce
I will serve it tonight
with wild yams and honey
and homemade bread from the stove

10 th in Andreas’ Haiku contest
when you fall in front of a bear
pretend to play dead, take this dare
might save your life said my cousin Jer
He’s a crazy coot with Einstein hair
I once saw a bear on the prowl
Who, one night encountered an owl
The owl said "Who"
The Bear answered "Pooh"
I knew something smelled a bit fowl
There once existed a fierce bear
Nothing with anybody would he share
Then one day he cried
Because friends he denied
Then he vowed to always play fair
Running Bear and White Dove
swim forevermore,
Never to be parted
or together nevermore.
*Poem based on the song Running Bear, as the title suggests
Please, don't mess with the poet Please, you should have knowdit
Preparing a most daring dare,
Of pinning a tail to a bear,
He just couldn’t choose
Which tail type to use,
And thought best to leave matters there.
3. Cinderella
Oh, Cinderella found her prince,
And you can find your passion too,
The trick is getting off the fence,
For victory’s just point of view!
