Dammit
“DAMMIT!”
as basements flooded
they gazed upon the structure
damning the beavers

Ants
Almost everywhere, these creatures dwell,
basements, closets, even under chairs.
Constantly they regroup, and come to claim,
dreadful little creatures, with tiny names....

Specific Words and Others
The words (some),
ponder before leaving
from the basements and utter words...
The words (others),
crack continually and
spread astray around the world...
determined words ponder well
its weight... others don't... injury
life without remorse... !...

Newbie
I felt good joining my fellow arts-mates
The strangers that i will always bond with
The neighbors in the other page
The so similar verses we shared
Writing from our basements
From the comfort of our beds and couches
From our libraries
From our sleep....
We meet in a world that others will never reach...

Coal Bins
Chicago, the South Side,
long before Barack Obama
those I'd love see live
anywhere they like
are those so black
they up long planks
in the heat of summer
wheelbarrow coal
so bright it pours
in a silver seiche
down chutes
through windows
of bungalow basements
crashing in coal bins
of new masters

Time Is Nothing
In dank and dusty basements,
where people die alone,
and ancient cairns by weathered hands
were built with rock and stone,
in cabins long abandoned,
corners pile with leaves windblown,
on battlefields resounding as the
bullet strikes the bone,
when more than one has, indeed,
o're the cuckold's nest flown,
we realize that time is nothing
and nothing's ever known.

Basements Basements
This is just for fun..=)
In the basement of my heart
there is a basement
and in that basement there are two basements.
You open one
and enter the basement
only to find out there is yet another basement
That basements basement
was light and blue
But that basements basement
was black
from basement to basement you walked
until you couldn't anymore
The basements basements
basements basements basements
basements basements basements basement
of my heart.
You found my love......

Primer
We have the effect of loaded dice on each other
Running our fingers through each others blue hair
Making dates, spraying our discharge all over the landscape
Reading books over stale gingerale
Fighting the promise of promised love
Castrating the wicked
Avowing of and fleeing for solitary confinement
For the sweeping moment of total prayer
Lost in our basements, discovering our old limbs
The sum of our parts, always greater than the warm
Smile in the cold glass mirror while......
