The birds ballet, with no applause.
A butterfly's wings, give me pause.
A visiting calico, comes to me and hands me her soft claw.
I hear in the distance, crows singing their caws.
I bow my head in gratitude for all these, the Creator's awes!

Kitty Paws
Kitty Paws

       Upon the lake
The kitty paws
       Betray the coming wind
Their silence take
       No time for pause
In judgment of my friend
       But in the wake
Is found a cause
       To jibe the sea again
And sail for sake
       Of hidden awes
That justify the end.

A Song Never Written a Ballet Never Sung
Although familiar
It still was strange
the blacksands
of the riverbed
we're. the purest
Nuggets of gold
We're dull and unseen
til my gloved hands
Found them
Beauty the gems
that shall that shine
a brilliant sparkle
a envious glistening
Shall make awes
and shall smiles

Drones contested in the fields
Buzzy Birds that flow
In challenge
and obstacle
Who shall be champion
To have trophy
and brag to those
who wish to be
Centered in the spotlight...

Premium Member What Is Up
the world lulled into a waltz

tis blurry who talks the talk

hopscotch scrawls who walks the walk

future visions blow hot and cold

life with no purpose gets mighty old

seems high five awes don’t erase the flaws

lessons with no plot get no applause

lackluster society doesn’t connect the dots

this dilly-dally world tarnishes the bot

gumption and prudence still adrift

mankind’s journey a repetitive tiff

repeat after me, life’s still a gift...

Swimmers
I never learned the proper way
To swim, and so my form
(With head above the water)
Is quite different from the norm.

I don't enjoy it anyway
And rarely hit a pool,
Preferring other exercise
And A/C to keep cool.

But watching the Olympians
Torpedo in their lanes
Makes me marvel at such effort
Which both awes and entertains.

Every sport has its attractions
Yet each breaststroke somehow brings
All observers (me included)
Right into the swim of things....

Beauty is life’s treasure
Hidden in the bowels of gods.
Spreading herself in thousand arts,
On all the corners of earth.

It is the deity’s immortal form
Of wonders, awes and amazement.
Treasured than gold and all fading forms,
Given from heaven to missioned mortals.

Lilies and roses are not good enough,
The sun and stars are it's attendants .
Riches and avarice cannot this purchase,
For none of earth can match it's worth.
Yet, even this, is but vain...

She stands beaten and bent, all exhausted and spent. And like Medusa's locks, Her coiffure awes and shocks. Her branches lash and sweep, strumming songs in Her sleep. And mimicking the birds, the wind whistles the words. She sheds raindrops like tears, stifling the children's cheers. For like the fickle sun, Her tears ruin their fun. Flailing branches of green, She's a sight to be seen. Swaying with every breeze, She's unlike other trees.
